Hello RoBo 3Ders,

We wanted to let you all know what is going on here at RoBo3D HQ.

A big thank you to everyone that has been patiently waiting on receiving their printer. We have currently shipped over 85% of the rewards and are closing in on delivering the rest to you all! The Australian printers are on their way via sea and are expected to arrive beginning of January. This will put our count to just over 90% once we are able to send tracking numbers out for that shipment. We are closing in on our final printers to be sent out and couldn’t be happier or more thankful that you all have stuck with us for this long over this incredible journey.

For those of you that have already received a printer, we have been overwhelmed with all of the amazing feedback and cool prints you have been able to show us! We are working on making the experience for a first time 3d printer (you) to be as plug and play as possible. With all the great feedback, we have been able to slowly make small but significant changes along the way and deliver a great product.

If you will be at CES 2014, come and check out our booth and meet the crew! We love interacting with those that have been here since the beginning to see us grow and know that it was all of you that made our dreams come true.

If you haven’t yet, check out our Forums for tips and tricks to get the perfect print.

Also, check out our Store for some quality low-cost filament to get print whatever your heart desires.

Take a look at our Facebook page to see some of the cool things that we have been printing out on our RoBo 3D Printer and updates on all the exciting 3d printing news around the world.

Thanks,

Coby, Michael, Braydon, Jerry, and the rest of Team RoBo 3D!

p.s- here are just a few cool prints we wanted to share

Seems that customers who ordered on the web are getting their printers while there are still Kickstarter backers who are waiting.

This will definately upset people and I believe they deserve an explanation.

I personally have my printer so it doesn't affect me but I do feel for those backers who are still waiting.

Come on Guys, please speak up and explain.

ROBO_3D_Printer already arrived to a Japanese general customer.

He said, [I ordered it on May 26, 2013 at ROBO Web Site@$800.]

Yes, frankly folks, the numbers just don't add up. 85%, even if used as a round number isn't even close (even if you include the stickers and bobble heads). It seems to me that the second 500 units are not close to completion, because by the math, it looks like the first 500 units are still being shipped, which would be the remaining May backers. The second 500 units would go to the June-July backers which include me, but the second 500 unit may not even exist. So, if you do the math which is very easy, you can see that they aren't even at 50% total backers yet, let alone the bogus 85%. And as William states below, CES is a BS excuse for not keeping your existing commitments. The biggest thorn in my side about this predicament, is that I offered these guys development and manufacturing assistance right after they funded and they never even replied. This really is BS. I hope they can get their act together, grow up and be professional business people and make good on their commitment, but at this moment I'm not holding my breath.

Hi Robo, do you guys have another update? Still no printer for me either :(

    5. Creator William Muraski on January 22, 2014

we would like to know how you came up with over 85% shipped, POST your numbers and spread sheets as it seems someones math is off, 85% of 1202 is 1021 leaving 181 left to ship which would put it in June backers, yet May backers haven't gotten theirs yet! (see Apla post below and spread sheet below, copied here as well ) thank you Apla :)

and the easy fulfillment ones are not done as well? WTH, how hard is it to send t-shirts, bobble heads, part's and the easiest of them all "Pledge $3 or more You will be mentioned as a backer on our website to show our appreciation.Estimated delivery: Feb 2013" and that page still doesn't exist! as of today 1/22/2014 that's is some appreciation.

close to a year ago we have invested in your company to get you 3 (Coby Kabili,Braydon Moreno, and Mike Pilkington) started with an idea and a dream, we have been patient for a very long time, we are mostly tired of the false numbers your posting and are to the point that we have had enough, we don't care if your running late on delivery's due to preparing for CES 2014 or any other show, man power and resources are not OUR JOB it's yours, TAKE CARE OF IT!

make no mistake that we are not investors, and we stay as such until you deliver the pledged tier selected, at which time we become customers.until then we reserve are individual rights to financial review of our investment.

No, u were a backer as soon as they took your money. Only 50 weeks later u realized u weren't just being scammed

    7. Creator Charles J Delk on January 15, 2014

They must be real. I just received mine today, 50 weeks after I became a "backer".

    8. Creator Markus Kropf on January 14, 2014

It might be an excuse that the Robo3D Team was absorbed by the CES Vegas, but delays are starting to get ridiculous. They are ruining their reputation, and that in a market that's more and more competitive

      Dear Team RoBo 3D!

Just created a simple Google Docs spreadsheet with shipment plan. Please take a look and respond us, May and June backers why we don't received our tracking number now.

      Thank you!

      It's now 11/01/14 !!!
im also may backer..... where is my printer??????

    11. Creator Minh Vu on January 2, 2014

Strange how the last 15% to be shipped seems to be everyone.
Maybe the last 15% are just more verbal about not getting their printer.

    14. Creator TOM SUG on December 28, 2013

Show the grounds of the number 85%

    15. Creator Sven on December 28, 2013

I am also a may backer and still waiting for my printer ... so now I will be one of the last 10% who will receive their printers? Or was it may 2014? Let's hope it won't be stuck in European customs ...

    16. Creator Vicki Hudson on December 27, 2013

85% rewards shipped - so when will the 9 bobbleheads go out? Or even, the email with instructions for how to send whatever information is needed so you can make the 9 bobbleheads?

I am a patient person by nature.
Thanks for keeping the project going.
Also, my money has already been taken, so I do not have a choice but to wait..
Oh, I have also paid the extra $70 for shipping to Australia which is a little annoying.
Considering the original $70 for shipping. $140 for shipping...
So incentive to purchase anything off kickstarter has pretty much been reduced to zero.

Thanks again for the hard work.

85% shipped and I'm a May backer with no printer.... My math says I should've been in the middle but my empty shelf says I've been forgotten or lost in the shuffle. Unreal!
