Lower prices! I learned a ton from last year's campaign and I've managed to cut down my production and shipping costs. I've passed the savings back down to you.
New designs! All new playmat designs made just for this campaign and a bunch of new MtG art from the past year.
Faster shipping! It took me 4 months to get my ordering and shipping together last time around. But now, I am a shipping master. I'm now equipped to send you your rewards in less than a month.
Limited time offer
Available for sale online for a limited time!
I want to customize all of the artwork that people buy from me, either through a signature or an embellishment. This is something that traditional print on demand services can't offer. Gathering all of the orders through a kickstarter will allow me to sell this art to people who don't have the opportunity to purchase prints from me at a convention or GP.
A new year brings a new round of playmat designs, unique to this campaign. I've refused offers to print more of last year's designs and I will limit this year's as well.
These limited edition playmats feature original artwork not seen in Magic: The Gathering. Other players will ask you where you got one and you’ll tell them that they were ONLY available through a totally awesome kickstarter. Their generic UltraPro mats will look lame in comparison. Hero mode!
I’ve been working with the fantastic people at El-Co Colorlabs for the past few years to make some killer luster finish prints. This year's prints will be slightly more affordable than last year and will better fit their original aspect ratio. Planeswalker art will still be 12 x 18 while everything is now printed at 11 x 14.
I've learned a lot about canvas prints this year and I've been able to drop the price down by %70 of their previous cost. I'm building them all in house now. Same great quality, amazing new price.
Canvas prints are are stretched over wood bars and come with a hand brushed acrylic finish to protect and beautify them. They are no longer limited run.
Risks and challenges
I will be customizing everything that I sell, so delays may occur if the order volume is too high.
Unexpected delays may occur in printing, shipping or order handling. Heck, I've got a newborn that's bound to be born during this campaign, so the chances of me missing a few days that might have been dedicated to this campaign is inevitable.
To handle these challenges, I've opted to hire help. My assistant Julie is fully experienced with all the ordering and fulfilling required to the rewards. She will be working to ensure everything goes out in a timely manner, even if I'm unable to.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
