We're Junkyard Choir (Mark Woods & Tom Herbert [aka Carlo & Paco Estevez]) and we're really excited to have finally finished recording our second album, 'Trouble In Mind'.
In order for our album to be released, we need your help! We have run out of money after two years in the studio recording these tracks... very nearly making it over the line. But now we need to get a CD run together. The completion of our album is crafted entirely on community support. That means you!
Who is Junkyard Choir?
Junkyard Choir is a blues-alt-rock duo based in Brighton. We released our first album 'Let Sleeping Dogs Lie' back in 2015. We have roots in Scotland, Croydon and the Cayman Islands.
What's on the album?
'Trouble In Mind' contains 16 new original tracks; all recorded over the last two years at Rocket Studios in Croydon. The album has been carefully mixed & mastered in the south of France by the legendary producer Gavin Kinch.
We have had amazing musicians helping us out on this one: Mark Robins (Bass), Gavin Kinch (Organ), Graham Lentz (Percussion), Aimee Grinter (Backing vocals), Tristan Gaudion (Trumpet) and Thomas Miles Woodbridge (Harp).
• Blue Moonshine Lady
Here's a breakdown of our budget, and where your investment goes. At this stage we just want to get the CDs pressed and shipped so it's quite simple :
• £400 - Physical Album reproduction and distribution/postage
• £50 - Kickstarter fee
Our Stretch Goals
If we are able to surpass our primary goal of £450 we will be able to fund a collaborative video project for the album and also plug the album further.

Risks and challenges
This is our first Kickstarter project. Of course, problems may arise—printing delays, shipping problems, and illness are always a possibility. We have already written, recorded, mixed and mastered most of the album and the art for this project, so we're not expecting any delays.
The album will be released on Friday 26th January 2018. We will ship to you for arrival on this date or as near as possible.
