Hidden Temple Enamel Pin Collection
Hello! My name is Brandon and I’m a freelance graphic designer based in California. As an independent designer I create products that feature my own original designs through a variety of mediums.
Being a longtime fan of enamel pins, I have always wanted to create one of my own, and now with your help these adventurous designs of mine can be produced!
The Kickstarter’s goal for the Hidden Temple Collection is to be able to produce the two enamel pin’s shown, “The Temple in the Valley” and “The Temple of the Sea”, you as a backer will be able to choose which pin suits you the most as a reward, or perhaps the more adventurous of you will want both!
The backer choices for this are few since this is my first Kickstarter, the main goal is to be able to get these enamel pins into your hands, from concept to reality.
The pins will both be 1.5" in size, with brass gold metal as the pin material. Having the pins at 1.5" will allow for the detailing of the pins to still be clearly seen but still be small enough to be pinned to your hat, bag, jacket, scarf, lanyard, etc for everyday wear-ability.
Each pin or set of pins will also have a card backer to accompany it, to me the presentation of the pin is just as important as the pin itself, and I want you to feel the call to adventure when you see your Hidden Temple Pin.
"Now Brandon," you might say, "This is all well and dandy but this is your first Kickstarter why should I back it?" Well stranger that’s a good question, let’s discuss some of the finer details. I have already spoken to my manufacturer pre-Kickstarter launch and gathered information on the production costs for the pins themselves as well as an outline for the production time!
This means that once the Kickstarter is completed I can place the order for the appropriate number of each pin and let the manufacturer do what they do best to complete the order. Getting the logistics of the pins pre-Kickstarter was important to me so that the production process after the Kickstarter is as efficient as it can be. This way any updates that I share with you, the backers, will be about finalized art, shipping, and sending out backer surveys once the pins are ready to be shipped.
Every little bit can help! Even if you can’t back the project you can help get the word out about it! I will be posting updates on my Twitter as well as here on Kickstarter!
Risks and challenges
Though this is my first Kickstarter I am confident that I will be able to stay within the timeline I have outlined to be able to get backers their rewards as quickly and efficiently as possible, but pin making can also be a long process, so any delays or updated information from the manufacturer will be shared to all backers.
