Our fifth stretch goal has been achieved with 24 hours remaining, and we’re now over 326% funded - we can’t believe the amazing support we’ve had during the campaign and we are truly grateful. Please keep all of your comments, suggestions and feedback coming!

Added - Nintendo Switch and Steam Ports

We’re pleased to confirm that with the fifth stretch goal reached we’ll be porting Xeno Crisis to the Nintendo Switch and to Steam for PC, Mac and Linux

New Audio Preview

The amazing Savaged Regime (Daniel Bärlin) has sent us a preview of the next track he’s composing for Xeno Crisis, showcasing more YM2612 wizardry! Check it out here on SoundCloud:

The Xeno Crisis soundtrack will be what Daniel describes as “modern prog metal / djent”, which we believe is a first for a Mega Drive game - hope you all enjoy it!

Congrats on hitting all five stretch goals, this game is going to be insane. As a die hard Japanese Mega Drive collector, I'm really looking forward to seeing the unique NTSC JP box and manual artwork. I would definitely buy a physical copy for Switch too, as would many others I'm sure.

Thanks for all the kind comments and those loving the new audio!

@RetroAsylum_79 - The Switch version will work in dock and handheld modes.

@Patrick Mason - We aim to make best use of each platform's control systems, so we imagine Twin Stick will be an option on the Switch at this time.

@Filipe / @Kent - We'd love to support more platforms but at the moment we're going to focus on the Mega Drive primarily and the other ports we've committed too. Not to say we won't rule out future platforms.

@Beh Kok Seng - We will certainly be looking into the viability of a boxed version for Switch.

Will the Switch version work in dock mode or handheld only?

Probably not time now but if switch physical were possible and announced with a Kickstarter exclusive art, probably go over 500% by end.

Game looks amazing! I can’t wait to try it on any platform I can! The stretch goals are great, glad to be a part of it!

Will the Switch version be twin stick?

Sega Mega CD port please. There are no security measures on the Sega Mega CD.
Sega Saturn port would be nice, but it would probably need console modification.
Wii U physical release would be nice too.
