We all need to stop bellyaching. Did we back this project just for a credit and a free copy? or Did we back this project because we love AF and want the world to understand what it is we love? I know for me, It's the latter. These guys have given me the soundtrack to my youth. They have always been super chill when chatting at shows. These cats are the real fucking deal and wouldn't we all want to see them get the recognition they deserve? Trust me, donating 50 bucks was nice, but it takes so much more to get these things out where they should be. I'd like to see this film get the best deal possible for distribution as I am sure the better the deal and the greater the exposure, the better it is for Roger, Vinnie and crew. Vinnie is fucking 60...that clip was great...but he is even better in real life.. so let the powers do what they need to... The film industry is sketch at best, be happy you contributed to something positive.

I for one am very disappointed in general when it comes to backing films on Kickstarter. I have backed three different ones and all of them are over a year past their estimated delivery date, with nothing to show other than updates on film festivals. I understand the difficulty of juggling the festivals with meeting the Kickstarter obligations, but this really should have been factored into the delivery dates. I will not be backing any further films going forward....

      I sense a theme here.

We get that the festival circuit is great for films and can help get more lucrative distribution (a really tough thing for a documentary) deal. The crew could certainly benefit from a chance to make additional films - but we, the backers, don't get any of the back-end. We'd like to see our copies. Maybe even before a streaming service picks it up.

When do we get a copy?

Hey guys, I think it’s great you’re doing the film festivals and all, but it’s been 17 months since the backers that helped get you to this point were supposed receive their items. I’m ecstatic to have been able to be a part of helping this project come to fruition, but any real updates on delivery?

    6. Mark Anthony G on January 17

Are our copies on hold since the film is entered into the film festival? Good luck!

    7. Michael Attardo on December 4

Hoping to get our copies soon!!

Thanks for posting the two video clips with Roger and Vinnie, can't wait to see the whole dvd! In which region code will the dvd be released? As backers of the project come from countries spanning three region codes (1, 2 and 4) and as AF have fans worldwide, would it be possible to release it with region code ALL or 0 so that we can all enjoy watching it problem-free? Or would this increase the production costs?

    20. McFarland & Pecci 2-time creator on June 26, 2016

@ Michael Attardo: things are coming out really great. We've been working all lot on the film the last couple months. I plan to release a couple clips in the near future as well as have a better outlook on timing of the release of the film.

    34. Christina Foran on May 16, 2015

Anja i would leave it. If you successfully created 3 kickstarter login names, it successfully let you pledge 3 times- ALL THAT MEANS is the billing details are the same / mailing address is the same.
