I think it's fair enough that the companies want to make some money at Essen. I'll get my game soon enough. I don't begrudge people more income. Working in creative jobs is often hard work and the pay off can be low (I know all about it, lol) I'm just looking forward to getting my games. Besides, the answer amused me.

Sure, but I am annoyed by this sentence: "Besides, you will need to save space in your luggage for all of the other cool games that you will find at Essen." Why not just be honest? We all know they have to run a business.

@ Burban: I agree, but let me change one thing you said: "probably. But so what? They need to sell to new customers at Essen, *MOST* of whom will get their games before we do. Life goes on."
      :-)

@ Leonard: probably. But so what? They need to sell to new customers at Essen, some of whom will get their games before we do. Life goes on.

@Strogar, only one ship was impacted by this as it was the only that was no in any port when the news broke.

No other ship from Hanjin has sailed since.

    9. Strogar on

should double check the ships where the container are supposed to be loaded, there is a Korean shipping company named Hanjin that is apparently having some serious problems and it is causing a problem with shipping capacity coming out of Asia due to the fact the Hanjin handles a large amount of containers.
backups and delays are happening all over the Asian shipping ports and supposedly some containers are stuck on ships that are not moving anytime soon.

All I hear is: "We got your money already. We want to sell more at Essen!"...

@Chantal - we are extremely short of space at Essen this year, so cannot offer Essen pickup. Besides, you will need to save space in your luggage for all of the other cool games that you will find at Essen. Ruth.

Would it be possible for us to pick up this game (and Daedalus sentence) from Essen? Or doesn't that work with the shipping?
