Like fine wine, many of the best things in life get better with age! Combine the early efforts of the immensely talented games designer Vital Lacerda on the classic board game Vinhos; add the inspired new artwork of Ian O'Toole; and polish it all off with the Deluxe Edition production talents of the team at Eagle-Gryphon Games. Et voilà, a new star is born: the 2016 Vinhos Deluxe Edition board game! Vinhos Deluxe Edition supports 1 to 4 players and takes 30 to 45 minutes per player to play.
New additions to the 2016 Special Vintage Edition:
- Double sided player boards can be used in both game versions
- A 9th region has been added
- A new estate has been added
- The Farmer (a new worker) has been added
- The Fair has been streamlined with new mechanics
- 18 actions tiles replace the manager's actions
- 22 multiplier tiles for final scoring
- The bank action has been removed
- The “zero” initial Vintage tile has been removed
- The Export action has been optimized for 2 players
- The limit on experts was replaced with another vineyards action
- No exceptions on a number of things you can do on your turn (For instance, you can now you can buy, hire, sell, and export 1 or 2 things in every action)
- Gameplay has been simplified and explanation time has been reduced
- New solo rules designed for the new game version

Add-Ons have been the source of a lot of confusion and some "issues" in the past. It is very difficult and expensive for us to coordinate and pay for shipping and stocking goods in four or more locations around the world. As a result, we are offering these add-ons only AFTER the KS program ends (via our survey that you will receive within two weeks after this KS ends) AND we are only offering them to US and Canadian Backers for certain.
For backers in the EU, Australia, Asia and South America, we will provide these Add-Ons on a first come, first served basis. If we do not have the stock needed, we will offer you a FULL refund.
There will be an additional cost for shipping (matching our costs for shipping, we do not make a profit on shipping!) and you will be advised of those extra shipping costs after you have filled out and returned the survey and worksheet. If the shipping costs prove unacceptable to you, you will not be charged anything additional for Add-ons. If the shipping charges are acceptable, you will pay for the Add-ons via PayPal or wire payment.

Risks and challenges
Eagle-Gryphon Games stands by our products. If there are issues with your game, please contact our customer service department within 30 days of receiving the copy of the game you have pledged for. We will take every step necessary to get you exactly what you pledged for. Contact: email@example.com. We do not accept responsibility for messages that end up in SPAM, that’s out of our control.
Shipping issues are relatively uncommon, but they do sometimes occur, especially when shipping to destinations outside of the US. We will obtain tracking information when it is possible, but sometimes it is not. We cannot guarantee that there will not be shipping problems, as we cannot guarantee the service and reliability of the various postal/delivery services involved around the world. You will have to assume that risk along with us.
We are a games publisher and not a shipping/delivery/governmental postal carrier. We do not ship damaged games out to you, but occasionally they are damaged in shipping by the carrier. Please keep in mind that we did not cause that damage, nor are we responsible for it. Your first recourse is to recover your losses (if any) from the carrier, not us. However, if you are reasonable about it, we will work with you to document and recover these losses as well.
Eagle-Gryphon Games has completed over 50 Kickstarter projects to date. Virtually all of those projects have either completed delivery or they are in the midst of it right now! Five projects, successfully completed on Kickstarter within the past few months, include these 5 -- Defenders of the Realm Dragon Expansion; Morocco, the Ferti Sugoi series; Taluva Deluxe; and Attack Deluxe. All of those games are in various stages of either production or shipping to Backers.
We keep Backers notified by Updates about the status of their projects. We deliver on our promises reliably and usually on time (the very few delays we have ever had were related to production schedule issues and/or transport issues such as weather and dock strikes, which we have only, at best, partial or NO control over).
To put it simply, you will get everything you are promised when you pledge to one of our Kickstarter Projects, and it will be delivered to you in as timely a manner as possible.
Shipping can be problematic and expensive. We ask that you are patient and tolerant and share the burden with us of making sure that shipping is as positive an experience as it can be. But be aware of what is involved please.
We will ship US orders from our Eagle-Gryphon Games warehouse in Kentucky; Canadian orders from Board Games Bliss in Ontario; Australian orders from The Games Capital in Canberra; and Asian orders from our warehouse in Shenzhen, China (mainland). Many EU orders will ship from our warehouse in Enschede, The Netherlands and some might be shipped directly from your home country, if other print partners join us in co-productions! UK Backers will get their games from BoardGameGuru in London. We do all this in an effort to keep expenses low but this much shipping also introduces more chances for damage and delays. We cannot avoid this risk, and save money for you. So we ask that you join us in assuming some of the risk when it is not ours either, and that you are as tolerant and patient as need be about the estimates we make many months before as to "Estimated Delivery" dates in the Rewards section. Many things about this estimate are simply NOT within our control, and you must agree to be tolerant and accepting of those delays. We will do our best to keep things on time, but we simply cannot assure you that we will meet these “made-well-in-advance” estimates.
It has been our experience that many people (including sophisticated international Kickstarter Backers) frequently confuse "shipping" expense and "postage" expense. What we try to cover with “shipping fees” is shipping expenses, not just postage. Postage is the actual charge your country's postal service (or UPS, FedEx, etc) charges us to deliver a package within that country.
Shipping is far more comprehensive and includes: getting the container shipped to the US, or the EU, or Australia; the Customs and VAT (or equivalent) and other import fees and taxes; the drayage from the port to the warehouse; the warehouse fees to unload and sort out and prepare packages; the materials and labor involved in the last item; fees to the warehouse for their service to us, and only after all of that, the postage! We need to cover all of those costs--and they really add up. Frequently they cost as much or more than the game(s) did to produce.
When we combine a low margin price (such as the one we offer on all of our KS projects) with this shipping expense, we do not make any profit if we are not very careful. We hope that the shipping we are charging for this project is as low as we can make it and still stay in business. We ask that you understand this and when we occasionally make mistakes in quoting shipping expenses and that you accept these changes. We will always give you a refund if we must make shipping fee changes and they are not acceptable to you.
We also reserve the right to combine the shipping of any and all pledges for multiple KS projects if the projects and the shipping are run close to the same time and if we can ship them all within a reasonable time (30 days) of us receiving them in our Kentucky warehouse. Of course, we will advise you ASAP if it looks like we will be holding up shipping for this reason and you will always have the right to pay additional fees to get expedited delivery on individual orders/pledges.
Internationally, for unusual shipping destinations or multiple games, get in touch with us and tell us the total how many games you want and which ones; and where you would like them shipped.
