Help us raise money to build a giant robotic egg for a completely gibberish universe being presented at the Hollywood Fringe Festival! Read more

About this project
HELP create a world of Play, Imagination, Gibberish, Fear, Love, and a GIANT EGGSHELL for this years Hollywood Fringe!
We are trying to raise $777.00 before our opening night (June 8th!) to help cover our expenses! All donations given past the initial $777.00 will go towards the continued development of this project!
Gold, Frank, and Murf are about to sacrifice their friendship, their manners, their comforts, their clothing and their use of language all to try and save their one common tie: a giant Eggshell! Combining European clown and modernism, Eggshell invites you to witness the universe where familiar things start to feel less and less familiar - the only world you know and love, but cracking apart.
With an original script by director/playwright Søren Olsen and the talents of Elizabeth Nelson, Gabriel McKinney, and Tim Reid, featuring the Official Universal Language of Gibberish in a world of play, Eggshell is sure to be a theatrical event different from anything you've ever seen! A fresh, fun filled, fully functional dysfunctional show about the strength it takes to truly love enough in order to adventure outside of yourself to fix it!
HOW YOU CAN HELP!
We want your help to raise $777 to cover the following expenses:
Giant Semi-Robotic Egg — $286 (lumbers, screws, chicken wire, wire mesh, glue, thick paper, lights, hose, metal screen, glass etc...)
Costumes & Props — $265 (flippers, flash paper, zippo, kiddie pools, towels, flowers, plungers, step ladder, luggage, pool noodles etc...)
Advertising — $226 (postcards, fringe guide ad, video shooting etc...)
We believe in new and creative work that affords any audience member the chance to see life a little differently by daring to immerse the artist within the act of bending the common nature of things. All donated money goes directly towards the chance to open THAT world of unimaginable circumstances and happenings for Hollywood's viewing pleasure this summer! Your money will not end up in our pockets, but in the CHANCE to inspire truly unique and heartfelt work in this years Fringe! Help make that CHANCE a reality!
