We have reinvented the turntable again to save you from your #Sad3ColorOptionTurntables.
With the OVO turntable we have taken everything great about our ATMO SFERA™ Turntable, launched on Kickstarter in 2016, and distilled it into something even more simple, more affordable and more colorful.
We have listened to every bit of feedback from the community to further improve every detail and with the introduction of the OVO turntable in 99 vibrant colored patterns, we offer something even more unique and personal.
A turntable should be easy to use, beautiful, but most importantly it should sound great. Most entry-level models offer gimmicks like built-in speakers, retro-looks, and USB connectivity. These turntables try to do too much, and consequently sound quality gets marginalized. By omitting USB and other superfluous features, we are able prioritize the turntable’s music-making components.
With decades of digital onslaught, though, it’s easy to forget how good the audio quality on a decent turntable and sound system can be. That'why we prefer to plug the OVO in the analog speakers directly so to enjoy all the nuances and colors of music.
To add accessories to your order you can simply increase your pledge amount by the value listed above (shipping is included).
The prototype of the OVO Turntable, after a long set of quality tests, is finalized and ready to go into production. During these detailed tests, the necessary fine tuning was made to make it flawless. Each component was designed, made and quality tested by our engineering team. Special standards were set for using top quality materials: anticorodal aluminium alloy and DELRIN® thermoplastic engineering polymer.
We are a six - member Italian designers and sirian engineering team with passions for design, manufacturing and music. The introduction OVO Turntable is our contribution to Italian Design and to the Renaissance of the Analog Experience.
By the way there will be the task of packaging, storing and shipping out the units. We have already secured storage space and begun work with a packaging company to ensure successful delivery of our OVO all over the world. We also made an agreement covering the shipping costs. So we will offer our product as “FREE SHIPPING” worldwide.
Risks and challenges
Making hardware is not easy, we know this because we have done it before. In fact in 2016 we launched our first product here on Kickstarter (the ATMO SFERA Platterless Turntable) as a team and successfully delivered over 500 units globally by now. We have had our challenges in the past but have learnt from them, improved how we work and are stronger than ever. Thanks to everybody that has supported us from the beginning.
HEY AUDIO DEVA, CAN I REALLY PUT ANYTHING ON A TURNTABLE? Well, not quite anything, but if you have the rights, the answer is YERP! We very much appreciate your trust in working with your images. The images you submit must be your original work. We cannot use copyrighted or trademarked material unless you have written approval from the holder. You warrant that the images you provide us are your original work and will not infringe on the rights of any third party or otherwise result in any potential liability to Modify.
From our successfully experience with the previous project, we've built a reliable production and logistics network.
Tooling for the OVO Turntable is nearly complete and we are currently working on the final tweaks before we start the parts production process. Our suppliers and our assembly partners have learnt a lot over the last 3 years, we are very experienced with the product and we have a high degree of confidence that we will meet our production targets.
However, it's our core belief at Audio Deva to never settle for a mediocre product, so we won't be compromising on quality in order to save time. Should any issues arise we promise to keep you updated every step of the way and make it right as soon as possible.
