See.Sense ACE : Production Update

Posted by See.Sense (Creator)

Dear Backers,

Our local factory is ramping up production it's taken a little longer than we'd hoped, but we still anticipate dispatch by month end.

We're working hard to finish the iOS and Android companion apps. As you may remember from a previous update, we were sad to have our Android developer leave mid project. His replacement has resumed development on the Android app and we're working towards being able to deliver both iOS and Android apps around the same time.

We'll send the survey out next week, allowing you to confirm your address, and if you wish, add any additional items at backer only prices.

We're fanatical about quality and everything, right down to the packaging is closely scrutinised. A couple of weeks ago, we visited the packaging factory to see how how the packaging is printed, folded and glued. Here's a sneak peek behind the scenes.

We also took an hour out to film a quick video to show you some of the people behind ACE and what we're most excited about.

We look forward to shipping to you soon!

Likewise, just checking in on the survey - I'm riding London to Edinburgh in early Sept and don't know whether I'll need to go out and buy more lights to see Mr through the trip! Fingers crossed.

I didn't get a survey, did you send it yet?

Packaging looks great but as a KS backer, TBH I don't really care. It will just have to be recycled, so if you could wrap them in a padded envelope, I'd be happy enough.

I know attractive packaging is important for retail, and maybe the scale means it is just as simple to serve us all the same package. But I thought it was worth a mention. Onward!

You’re getting it right - enjoyed the team video! We’ll forget the delay if it’s as good as it seems.

Super excited - good luck with the launch. So great to see a local company leading the way in innovation.

Not sure what’s disappointing about this update. Clearly shows your passion and that you’re making progress.

I knew this was coming, didn't heard a thing. It's not that I'm mad, just disappointed. :-|
Keep u the good work and deliver at least by the end of September.
