About this project
Thank you for taking a look at the Tool-Makers 'Greatest Tool In The World' project. This Tool-Makers project started on a vendor related visit to the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston. This visit and many subsequent visits allowed an opportunity to examine the various tools used on the space shuttle program. The idea of creating a commercialized ‘consumer’ hand tool that was specialized and personalized was born from these meetings.
This project has infinite possibilities and we have positioned ourselves with the vendors and suppliers that we have selected to be able to fulfill these requirements with the latest state of the art automation equipment. We have designed a modular manufacturing growth system which allows us to rapidly increase our production levels when required.
For this reason, we can handle a large number of backers of our KICKSTARTER project when it becomes necessary and efficiently fulfill customized orders small or large.
What we will do with our KICKSTARTER funding.
Our project is a large manufacturing undertaking and we recognize this. We also know we can start small and grow our project with our success. We have a set of requirements for the initial start up which includes the updates to our website, fulfillment of the initial orders to be placed, injection molds, fixtures, tooling, laser engraver, assembly area, packaging and shipping. We have already figured out the production process and now it requires the initial funding to successfully launch. The more funding we receive, the faster we can grow.
We want to make history with our project and humbly ask for your backing and hopefully you will tell your friends and family.
The project you see here is a continuation in the early history of combined wrenches that started with the Original ratcheting socket wrench which was filed on March 13, 1847 and granted to Zelotes William Avery in New Berlin New York. The patent was assigned to Benjamin Webb who also was an inventor and together these 2 people made a large contribution to the beginning of American Automation.
US Patent #5009. First ratcheting socket wrench 1847
By simply combining a ratcheting mechanism together with a 'buggy wheel tool and farm wrench', a wheel nut could be removed and replace quickly from a stage coach, buck board or buggy. History shows that this single invention provided the spark that fueled the early American Industrial Revolution and had a significant effect on rapid assembly of mechanisms including sewing machines, munitions, trains and machinery of all types.
The Tool-Makers wrench is revolutionary in the way it functions and the way it adds the ability to be customized to match many advertising and personalization configurations, quality gifts, 'make your own designs' and corporate representation. There is an obvious connection to almost anything mechanical which requires taking a nut, bolt or fastener apart or putting these two back together.
Gifts With A Purpose.
Our goal is to create the worlds finest tools, tool sets, tool boxes and related products. These are produced with superior materials, fit and finish and are most of all distinctive. What could be better than giving or receiving the coolest set of tools ever for a special occasion such as birthday, graduation, fathers day, corporate promotion, reward and retirement, trade school achievement, or holidays. How about a putting your favorite race team, your hot rod, motorcycle or personalized license plate to match your classic vehicle???
We would like to be known as the people who make the greatest tools in the world.
We can laser engrave names, occasions events or other designs to these tools with your provided artwork.
Our Artwork And Designs.
We currently have over 600 unique designs in our library and are constantly adding more. We will have these available as quickly as we can get the licensing agreements completed. The designs that are forthcoming are simply awesome. Most of our designs can be ordered as a left handed or right handed configuration.
Patents, Licensing And Trademarks.
Tool-Makers currently has patents on our tools, mechanisms and the application of the artwork. We are continuously developing new intellectual property to protect our inventions and processes.
We are developing a portfolio of trademark licensing agreements which are required by large and small corporations, governments, individual owners, etc. We can provide a trademarked design to our products when we receive a license to do so and will protect that relationship both legally and ethically.
The Tool-Maker wrench crown can be customized and changed for an infinite number designs. The customizations can be used for personalization to match your favorite sport team or could be used as a corporate advertisement campaign. It can be customized for your favorite Hot rod such as the custom license plate themes. http://www.tool-makers.net/crowns.htm The available crowns are expanding as licenses for many different images are being gathered.

KICKSTARTER is an awesome venue for allowing us to build the necessary funding to be able to meet the manufacturers' minimum order quantities. We will then be able to take the Tool-Makers project to a wider audience so that we can continue to bring the rest of our innovative products to market.
