About The Kill Screen
After successfully collecting our comic - The Kill Screen - as a glorious Hardcover edition, we've come back to Kickstarter to help us produce a new 'platinum' softcover version of the comic, which we hope will help us reach a wider audience.
The Kill Screen is sci-fi/horror/thriller that explores what would happen to our world if it were infected by computer and computer game viruses. How would we all survive?
The original four-issue series follows a group of survivors in a post apocalyptic world that is overrun with the technologically infected. This collection includes the complete original series, seven extra comic stories, guest pin ups and illustrations, our own custom made original soundtrack, and a making of section.
As well as offering the new 200 page platinum edition of the Kill Screen, the Hardcover version of the comic - that includes an additional thirty pages (which features original scripts, unused concepts, and a fan art sections) - we're also offering a range of extras through our various pledge goals.
Still not sure? You can read the entire series for FREE on our Patreon here.
KIckstarter is a fantastic tool for reaching a wide audience - we've used it several times and have both enjoyed a really positive experience. We're hoping to continue getting The Kill Screen in front of new people, and an increased size of print run will allow us to concentrate on producing the comic. We've set a low target (compared to the 8k that we need) as we'll be using the profits made from the series to add to this total.
