This is a fascinating project! I first thought it is a pinhole camera or a polaroid - like the one Joe McNally used for his Faces of Ground Zero collection -, but yours is a whole different beast! What a beautiful beast.
Even as a photographer who uses medium and large format film this is way beyond what I'm used to seeing. Do you have further information on the lens that you can share? What focal length and f-stop are you using? What type of shutter does it have?
