Thank you all for checking out Kagero. We are NYC's biggest and most prolific Japanese Gypsy Rock band.
We hope you can help us out with our next recording! All proceeds will go to:
- Studio tracking
- Guest Musicians
- Mixing / Engineering
- Production and Promotion
- Additional Musicians
We'll start recording in an as-of-yet-to-be-named studio in February... it's very exciting! You can find us online at www.kagero.com.
As we mention in the video, we get out a lot. Here are a few of our favorite venues: Starving Artist Cafe, Caffe Vivaldi, Espresso Joe's, Union Pool, Webster Hall, Block Island Music Festival and ArtsQuest. In our travels, we've also come across some killer musicians, such as: Raya Brass Band, Diego's Umbrella, Spring Standards, Bern and the Brights, Porchista's, Apollo Run, Paprika and Golem.
Here's a recent video of a show and interview we did at Steel Stacks in Bethlehem, PA. Rob just told me that the Billy Joel song, Allentown, is actually about Bethlehem but that Billy Joel did not want to use the name Bethlehem in his song.
