With 30—make that 32 now with stretch goals unlocked!—RPM (Radical Performance Maneuver) cards to play from, you'll be ready for whatever is around the bend. Whether it's smokescreens and straightaways or pit stops and pacenotes, the right RPM combo at the right time will keep your foot on the gas and your opponents off-track.
If tire spikes and land mines can’t seem to keep your fellow racers from taking the top spot in the winner’s circle, don’t worry, we’re also introducing 10 different Weapons to choose from. Send your opponents skidding off track with a missile attack or drag them into the dirt and leave them stranded with a well-aimed grappling hook. But, whichever weapon you choose, you’ll have access to unique special abilities and features sure to keep your opponents eating your dust.
To the victor go the spoilers. Win a race in Tournament play and you'll not only get bragging rights, but powerful new Performance Upgrades will help ensure you're not just a one-win-wonder, but a Tournament Champion!
THUNDER TRACK takes careful planning, patience, wit, and a healthy dose of foresight to become a champion. Get too far ahead and you'll become everyone's target. Fall too far back and you might not be able to catch up by the end of the race. Waste all your RPMs and Ammo and you may not have them when you need them most. With plenty of surprises around every corner, the driver who knows how to react quickly—and carefully—will take home the Trophy.

The Trophy Cards will be redesigned without the original backer names for THUNDER TRACK.
You draw seven RPMs at the beginning of each race.
On your turn you can fire as many rounds at as many On-Track players as you want. If you miss you can fire again as long as you have rounds to do so.
After the launch of our campaign, Jady, one of our backers from the original campaign came up with a great idea to enhance play. He designed a set of weapons that can be mounted to 1/64th scale cars. Unfortunately these are not a part of the game package (too costly to produce at low volume) but will be available for separate purchase on Jady's Shapeways page. We will post photos as soon as the prototypes arrive in early December.
After the release of the first game, we really hoped we could include cars with this second version. We spoke to several toy manufacturers hoping to partner, only to run into roadblocks and dead-ends. Maybe with more game popularity something will pop up?
Until then, we will say that a big part of the thrill of Turbo Rally Card Racing is finding and even customizing your own cars. Quite a few of our fans have now become car collectors too. There are tons of cool cars out there so find (or make) one that best represents you!
Risks and challenges
This is our third Kickstarter and we learn something new every time. Last time we delivered early on our promise and many told us it was the best run Kickstarter campaign they'd ever backed. That was a huge honor! Of course I don't dare jinx us by saying we can do that again, but I promise you we're sure going to try. Whatever unforeseen things may come, "doing it right" and looking out for our backers is always our first priority.
