About this project
We’re Morrison and we make high quality sneakers with exclusive and disruptive designs, always with a focus on fair working conditions for the people who make our sneakers. Morrison sneakers are handmade in Spain using the best materials, and our sneakers stand out for their comfort, style and fair production process.
Two years ago, we launched our first Kickstarter campaign, and you trusted us and helped us start a completely different sneaker brand. Now, after 15,000 pairs of Morrison sneakers have been shipped, we’re back on Kickstarter to introduce our newest collection and the best one so far: Morrison Nineties 18/19, with a special price exclusive to this Kickstarter campaign.

Morrison Nineties are inspired by the culture and colours of our favorite decade (you guessed it!) – the 90s. Morrison Nineties feature classy and retro models with color-popping colour combos for the ultimate fashion throwback – all executed combined the bouncy ergonomic comfort of a modern sneaker.
The Nineties Sneakers
The Morrison Nineties sneaker is comfortable, lightweight, and made for every moment. They’re available in 8 colors and different materials, including a vegan option (ICON) and an exclusive model with a new platform sole (FRIDA).
The latest Morrison Nineties include new combinations and awesome improvements: new personalized hand-stitched soles, breathable and removable insoles, reinforcements in toecap and heel for greater durability, and an improved shape allowing you to enjoy your Morrison all day long, in complete comfort.

Handmade in Spain
Despite our rapid growth, we keep our entire production in Spain under fair working conditions. Everyone working on a Morrison sneaker earns a fair salary in a working environment that prioritizes equal opportunities for all workers.
Our factory is located in Aragón, Spain, where each sneaker is made by hand, using the finest materials only to guarantee its quality and durability. We follow an artisan sewing process for the shoe and the sole to get an original, unique and comfortable sneaker.
Our Social Commitment
Morrison partnered with the NGO Idea Libre earlier this year. This organization is focused on the construction of schools in the poorest areas of Kenya, training workshops for teachers in the town of Ksar-Tazouka and adult literacy to build values that empower women and improve education. Idea Libre is founded by our Friends Sandra and María, and they’re all about taking action to give children in poor areas better opportunities and access to education. During the last year, we have carried out several campaigns to raise money for Idea Libre and have promoted daily donations through our online store.
Morrison was born from the motivation of three childhood friends, passionate about the digital world and in love with entrepreneurship and fashion, especially footwear.
PABLO RECUENCO PIZARRO Graduated in Journalism at the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid, he has a postgraduate degree in Radio at the Superior School of Image and Sound (CES) and studies on Corporate Communication, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce and Entrepreneurship.
ÁLVARO RODRÍGUEZ He has a degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a Master's Degree in Organization and Facilities Management of Physical Activity and Sports from the University of Alcalá de Henares, Polytechnic University of Madrid and the University of León.
ÁLVARO PATÓN He is an Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, with a master in Industrial Organization.

Risks and challenges
The road to get here has not been easy. We still can’t believe all the things that have happened since we started Morrison. Our first Crowdfunding campaign was a great test for us, when we were combining our regular day jobs with Morrison. Thanks to our backers, hard work, and our passion for the brand, we had a successful campaign and was able to successfully launch our online shop – since then, we’ve shipped over 15.000 shoes and have learned a lot.
Apart from putting great designs, top quality and fair working practices at the front of our business, we know the value of customer service, and have had the chance to get really good at it (if we do say so ourselves) over the past couple of years. We’ve used our previous experience to plan this campaign as well as we can, but if something unexpected out of our control would come up (which is always a possiblilty with larger scale production) then we would communicate it with our backers so they know what’s going on every step of the way.
