Gangs of bandits plague the roads, waylaying merchants and travellers on the old roads to Midlam, threatening to stem the busy merchant trade, the very lifeblood of the city.
And so, the Baron has organised several militia groups to scout the roads, in pursuit of the worst of them all, a ruthless band of cutthroats lead by Captain Grief.

Stretch Goal - George The Grind!
We are pleased to announce the stretch goal for Waylaid by Bandits, heavy brawler, George the Grind. Maintainer of discipline within the gang, and in a permanently foul mood, George's party piece is crushing a man to death with his bare hands, and is not be trifled with.
Should we reach £5000, then we will include one George the Grind with every pledge for a A Gang of Notorious Bandits or A Gang of Bandits and Sundry Wrongdoers. Anyone backing Two Gangs of Notorious Bandits will receive two copies of George the Grind. This will be entirely free of charge with no added postage costs.
Anyone backing A Menacing lone bandit or A Pair of Mean-Looking Bandits may choose George as one of their reward miniatures.
Sundry Wrongdoers Add-On
As the word goes out that there's money to be made, many of the thieves and robbers of Midlam decide they would also make their fortune on the road...
As an optional add-on, backers may choose this set of 9 classic thieves and robbers from our existing range. All miniatures are supplied unpainted, and vary in height (from bottom of feet to top of head) from 26-28mm tall.
A Note on Metal
The miniatures are cast in a high quality pewter, with a high Tin content, but may contain a small quantity of lead (typically no more than 5%). We unfortunately cannot guarantee lead free models. Most 'lead free' metal usually contains a small amount of lead to help the metal flow into the mould. Below is an actual picture of the shiny high quality metal we use.
Risks and challenges
Risks and challenges
Risks are low, though there is always a small chance that, for one reason or another, a figure does not cast properly.
In these unlikely circumstances we would either get a replacement mould or commission a sculpt by the original sculptor, matching the original as closely as possible, with whatever modifications are necessary for the miniatures to cast correctly.
Should this happen, the estimated release date for all miniatures could be pushed back by a month or two until any problem was fixed.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
