CULTISTS OF THE KRAKEN LORD

UPDATE - Stretch Goal Achieved! Kreel is unlocked!
We are very pleased to say that the Stretch Goal for the Cult of the Kraken Lord has been met.
One Kreel Miniature will be included free with all of the following pledges:
The Cult of the Kraken Lord
Acolytes of the Kraken Lord
Horde of The Kraken Lord
The following pledge will receive two free Kreel Miniatures:
The Cult of the Kraken Lord x2
Kreel may also be bought in the 'Guardian of the High Priest' pledge instead of Kralk.
UPDATE - Stretch Goal Announced!
The High Wizard has found it difficult to keep his plans secret for the oncoming fight against the Cult of the Kraken Lord, for the cult always seems to be aware of his plans in advance. He has endeavoured to find out how, and through arcane magicks has finally revealed the source of the leaks as Guardian Kreel - The Ever Seeing!
Introducing our stretch goal for this Kickstarter! We are pleased to announce the imposing Guardian Kreel, who stands 44mm high with his staff of sight, and looks suitably imposing standing on the opposite side of the Kraken throne to the brutish Guardian Kralk.
We will unlock this stretch goal, and provide this titanic figure of Kreel for FREE (and no added postage) to each backer of the entire Cult of the Kraken Lord (and two for those who back Cult of the Kraken Lord x2 reward) should we reach the target of £6000.
Will we make this stretch goal? Kreel is watching... ever watching...

The Cult of the Kraken Lord
Since the influx of new apprentices and the arrival of the Halfling Wizard delegation, there has been a newfound sense of hope and optimism in Midlam.
The High Wizard however has had a vision of something terrible coming to Midlam, perhaps attracted by the very magic that he has so carefully nurtured.
The Cult of the Kraken Lord may have once been human, but no more. For beneath their tattered robes, they are slowly, but surely changing into be-tentacled horrors in the image of their master, the Kraken Lord.
This set of 9 Miniatures comprises 7 Cultists, 1 (larger) Guardian miniature and 1 High Priest on Kraken Throne, from where the downfall of mankind is slowly brooded upon.

All miniatures but the High Priest and Kraken Throne have slottatabs, and you will receive a 25mm round plastic slottabase to go with each tabbed miniature.
Getting this project funded will not only help us get these figures made, but will also help us plan and create future ranges and expansions. We are also happy to receive suggestions on what to make next.
PLEASE NOTE: The miniatures are cast in a high quality pewter, with a high Tin content, but may contain a small quantity of lead. They are not toys, and are not suitable for children. We regrettably do not have the ability to produce resin miniatures. All miniatures are supplied unpainted. All images and miniatures are ©2016 Midlam Miniatures.
Risks and challenges
Risks and Challenges
Risks are low, as the sculpts have already been produced (see pictures) and are now only awaiting master and production moulds.
There is always a small chance that a master sculpt may be destroyed in the master mould making process and/or the figure does not cast properly. In these unlikely circumstances we would get a new sculpt by the original sculptor, matching the original as closely as possible, with whatever modifications are necessary for the miniatures to cast correctly.
Should this happen, the estimated release date of February 2017 for all miniatures could be pushed back by a month or two until any problem was fixed.
We will keep people updated at all stages of production to let them know how the manufacturing is going.
