Recorded at home on the Isle of Man, in the historic St. Bridget's Chapel, with producer Andy Seward at the helm, Manannan's Cloak takes the trio's emphatic sound to the next level, with guest performances from a Celtic support cast that includes Paul McKenna on vocals, Calum Stewart on uilleann pipes, Dylan Fowler on lap steel and Tad Sargent on bodhrán. The album also features respected Manx artists David Kilgallon (piano) and Gregory Joughin (vocals).
The goal of this Kickstarter project is to raise enough money to complete the final stage of making a successful album: promotion and publicity. Help Barrule get their distinctive brand of Manx music out there and heard! Pledge some money to the project and in return receive a mountain of new Barrule goodies, including the album itself… before it is even released!
Thank you for your support.
Risks and challenges
Getting an album ready is an extremely challenging and time consuming process, but the good news is that the majority of it has already been done! We just need a bit of extra help to finish everything off in time for the launch on the 11th May 2015.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
