Special forces, intelligence agents and military contractors are on the front line carrying out secret missions against a multitude of enemies including ruthless warlords, insurgents and paramilitary groups.
We are keen wargamers who have always wanted to paint and collect a modern range of miniatures exploring covert warfare. As there was nothing available we set out to create one ourselves.
Combining traditional sculpting and digital modelling we've created a unique and characterful range of eighty 28mm miniatures with an arsenal of highly detailed weapons and equipment. We're proud of what we've created and we’d love to share them with you.
All of these miniatures have already been sculpted. Now we need your help to put them into production. Without Kickstarter we would have to release the miniatures gradually over a long period of time. We would much rather release the whole range of miniatures at once and then build upon that range in the future.
If you back our campaign you will receive your choice of miniatures months before the general public and be able to participate in the continued refinement of our fast paced and action packed rules set.
How it works
Your pledge corresponds to a specific reward level. Each reward level consists of a number of miniatures sets. For example the Big Man pledge level entitles you to four miniatures sets. So you could pick one Delta Force set and three African militia sets. Once the Kickstarter ends you will need to pick which miniature sets you would like and we will collect this information with a survey.
You may add an additional £10 to your pledge. Each £10 you add will give you the choice of an extra set of figures. For instance, if you have pledged for the 'Big Man' level at £34 for 4 sets, pledging an extra £10 would give you 5 sets, £20 would give you 6 sets.
Each set is comprised of four miniatures. All miniatures are supplied unpainted, unassembled and without bases.
Our skirmish based rules set for infantry engagements is now available. Due to popular demand we've made the digital beta rules available to everyone. You can download it from here. This digital beta version will only be available during the campaign.
Initially the rules will cover infantry engagements, rules for Vehicles, Campaigns and much more are planned for the future as separate releases. When the miniatures ship we will make a finalised digital version of the Infantry rules available for download for all of our backers.
If you pledge at the Big Man level and higher you will receive the Kickstarter exclusive Deniable Asset miniature for free.
Our modest goal will allow us to put 32 miniatures into production. If you help us achieve higher funding levels we will be able to put more into production. For each stretch goal we achieve two more miniature sets will be available.
We hope to build up enough support to expand the miniatures range well into the future. The African theatre is the first of many we would like to explore. We also have plans to include other nations, contemporary vehicles, terrain and even a rulebook.
Risks and challenges
We feel there is minimal risk attached to this project. The miniatures are already made so we don’t need to wait to get them sculpted. We can send them off for moulding and casting as soon as the Kickstarter ends and the funds clear. They are being manufactured locally by a reliable company that we have used before and supplies the majority of the wargaming businesses in the UK.
It is possible there may be minor complications with moulding or the postal service but nothing that will delay this significantly. If there is a delay we plan to keep our backers informed and updated.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
