This collection of doodles document my journey of understanding and living with depression and anxiety. By supporting this project you are helping The Doodle Chronicles in its aims to raise awareness of mental illness, contributing to the fight against stigma, and helping sufferers feel less alone.
These doodles started off simply as a way for me to understand and process my feelings during my darkest times but eventually I decided to share the images with family and friends; the response was, surprisingly, wonderful and I was inspired to share this further. And so 'The Doodle Chronicles' was created with the hope of raising awareness and increasing understanding of mental illness, all the while aiming to help other sufferers to feel less alone.
Mental illness can be impossible to talk about, even, and sometimes especially, with those closest to us. Sometimes, a silly little doodle might make the difference between loved ones being able to understand what someone is going through and the issue being surrounded by mystery, confusion and misinformation. It's time to break the silence and put an end to stigma.
Every single donation is greatly appreciated and will be reinvested 10-fold into The Doodle Chronicles: each pound raised will make a huge difference in allowing me to keep investing the same levels of time, energy and money into this project.
The Guardian recently featured me and my doodles as part of their Christmas appeal, please see the wonderful piece here: http://www.theguardian.com/society/christmas-charity-appeal-2014-blog/2014/dec/01/-sp-drawing-depression-the-doodle-chronicles.

Risks and challenges
I hope to get your rewards to you soon after the Kickstarter is completed, but of course the unpredictability of mental illness could mean this this delayed. I have allowed for this by suggesting that rewards will be received by the end of January, giving me some breathing room should I need it. I would really appreciate your patience in this matter.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
