This live "non dialogue" short-film is not a comedy. Not even a historical film or documentary. It is a drama, where more and more young people are sinking in, with their number increasing exponentially.
Why non dialogue? Because a drama doesn't always need words to be executed.
Is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. I will present you 14,400 frames after which you’ll see this social problem in a different way, because--
--This film is a warning!
Excessive or compulsive use of computer games or video games, definitely interferes with a person's everyday life.
Games addiction has a negative image and is becoming a public concern and may present as compulsive game-playing; social isolation; mood swings; diminished imagination; and hyper-focus on in-game achievements, Few people know that video game addiction was added to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders and accepted it as a disorder that was included in the Conditions for Further Study section as "Internet Gaming Disorder". Though gaming disorder now is now acknowledged as a disorder, it is still discussed how much this disorder is caused by the gaming activity itself, or whether it is to some extent an effect of other disorders.

A New Mexico woman named Rebecca Colleen Christie was convicted of second degree murder and child abandonment, and sentenced to 25 years in prison, for allowing her 3 and a half-year-old daughter to die of malnutrition and dehydration while occupied with chatting and playing a well known online game.
Unfortunately the list can go on with many other examples. Some who are not even officially registered. ...........
My name is Florin Danilov, and I want to show you a glimpse of what can reside inside the mind of a game addicted kid.
My hope is that by making this film, we will begin to look with new eyes on those close to us.
I was a graphic designer, I worked in television, I helped in the production of games as a 3D modeler, I was a programmer and now I’m an aspiring Director and Screenwriter.
I know what a game is, I know how it can affect an individual and we have a team with works in movies such as Hercules, Interstellar, The Zero Theorem, Flowers of War, After Earth or Hobbit, that can bring exactly what I "see" on the screen.
Is first page tempting enough?
Shooting set preparation (demo reels)
Every cent raised over the target, will be used entirely for the production of "Delirium". To be even better with more VFX (mattepaiting, destruction scenes and even a computer generated crowding system), professional guys for fighting sequences and a larger studio for the complicated shots.
The money raised through Kickstarter is the minimum to be used for financing around four important scenes with abundance of visual effects, props, good actors, and nice/cheap locations in Romania. Everything filmed on state of the art “cinema” equipment.
In short, your money will finance the following:
Raising funds - August-September
Pre-production - from August to October
Shooting - mid October
Post-production - from October through February 2015
Risks and challenges
We all know that every film, no matter its importance has to go through a complex process before it is launched to the open public. In light of this, we plan to use the funds in a proper way and make the film look fantastic. If the film succeeds in drawing one's attention, our mission is accomplished.
"Delirium" is a story that CAN’T be executed poorly. it is a hard and expensive movie to be made and definatelly, DELIRIUM is no exception.
Even so,everybody involved in this movie will be poorly paid just because we want to make this project.
Therefore, that’s why we need you, and in exchange for your support we’ll share our work in making of this movie.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
