Stretch goal info and Chapter #11:
Yesterday we revealed some stretch goals that we decided might need a bit of explaining. In yesterday's update, we talked about the location tiles (which we already UNLOCKED!) and today we wanted to talk about the next goal, All the Love. We'll unlock this goal and celebrate like hooligans when we reach $100K! We had a bunch of stuff that we wanted to give our backers and decided to lump them all together in one big party platter. Each of these items is important and they felt like they should all go together. We are getting very close to unlocking this stretch goal so here's a breakdown!
All the Love!
Plastic Standee Bases - These will replace the cardboard pieces that held the standees up before. These are much nicer, will easily fit back in your box, and won't fall off when you move the W.O.R.M.s around as you celebrate the death of your daredevil friends after they fell to their doom in the crevasse. This last part is a very important part of the game that you may not find in the rulebook.
Linen Finish Rulebook - We thought the rulebook should match the box and cards. It's not something we usually do for rulebooks, but it will really add to the whole feel of the game.
UV Spot Varnish on the Board - Most of the board will still be matte varnish to go with the linen cards, box, and rulebook, but the little shiny spots will add to the overall look. It'll be so purty!
High Res Digital Worm Art - We had a few requests for this and we've already got this awesome art! If you want to stare into the maw of the beast in between answering emails on your laptop, then who are we to stop you? We might as well give you high res versions!
Additional Player Aids - There are actually 2 unique additional player aid cards in this stretch goal. What are they and why are they needed? Well, they're not necessary, but will prove useful for some folks. As you may have noticed, the player aid cards have an image of a vehicle pawn in the bottom right corner. It's always nice to have a physical reminder in front of players of which pawn is theirs, and it helps other folks around the table to correctly match player with pawn. So one of the additional player aid cards will be added to the Hidden Cache only, and will have an image of the Tank pawn. Otherwise, it will have the same player aid info.
The other additional player aid card will be included in the standard box, and it'll be for SOLO play, providing a quick reference for solo gameplay. It'll be very useful!
If you're enjoying these stretch goals or just want to reminisce with other Terror Below fans, make sure to stop by our Facebook group. They're a rowdy bunch. You'll fit right in.
Also, we just posted a new Chapter in our Terror Below Story by Banana Chan! Find out what Shep is doing with those confused humans in the Hospital! Chapter 11: Not Alone. You can find all the previous chapters linked there too!
Thanks for being part of our project! Watch for another update tomorrow!
Enjoy the weekend!
