Getting down to the wire

Hello everyone. I know I said I would post an update in the form of a video around the half way mark, but the combination of household illness plus ridiculously cold weather has made it hard to accomplish that. We are doing great on our end, and just received our first seed order for this upcoming spring. Not to sound over confident yet, but we are excited that the plants that will grow from these seeds will be grown in ground that was cultivated by our very own tractor that YOU helped us acquire.

With 8 days left to our Kickstarter fundraiser and just $1,265.00 left to raise, the future is bright. What has been really encouraging is seeing people even increase their pledge to put us that much closer to our goal. No one is obligated to give, let alone increase what they have already committed to give, and because of everyone's charity, we are truly humbled. Some people who have given I have know for my entire life. Others I have never met and may never meet.

Either way, I want all of you to know how much this means to me and what the acquisition of a tractor will do for us. No longer will I have to scramble around for days trying to put together enough equipment to get my tasks done. No more will I have to till under moonlight with a little 14" wide hand roto tiller, rather than tucking my children into bed and giving my family my last ounce of energy for the day. Each of you has collectively changed our lives, and to you all I am eternally grateful.

Believe it or not, little Michael's first word was "Tractor"(followed by truck and train, of course)

Thank you all so much, and again, spread the word to friends, family, and co-workers. The only way people will be compelled to give is if they are compelled by our story and our cause. Stay warm and healthy!
