Hello Maureen - We will put another DVD in the mail for you today!
Gareth - the special edition has a unique cover and is a screener copy, so it's best to watch the whole movie at one time.
Thanks to those of you who posted your new addresses - please let us know if you don't receive your DVDs soon.
      Warmly, Angela Murphy Producer

      Hello there,

Unfortunately I have not received my copy of the DMLP DVD, I have left my new address here about twice now, is there someone out there who can tell me what is happening with my copy please ? My family will be celebrating the passing of my Mum and Sister (11 years and four years respectively) this summer and I really hoped the DVD would have been here by now but I am getting a little disappointed, as I have no idea why I have not received my copy or if anyone takes note of the comments I have been leaving here. Please let me know what is happening. My new (not so new) address is: 93 Felixstowe Court, E16 2RS, London, UNITED KINGDOM (UK) Maureen

Can I ask what is on the special edition DVDs apart from the documentary itself?

Thank you for taking on this very important and beautiful project! And thank you for being creative and so transparent about getting what you need to complete it.

Those who are interested in this film may also be interested in A Life and Death Conversation, which is an ongoing series of live calls dedicated to exploring how our relationship with death impacts our life. As an ER and Hospice physician for over twenty years, I've had a very interesting relationship with death, and because of that, I fully embrace life, and am committed to helping others do the same. So I started this Conversation to allow people to come together in a safe space to share and to heal.

Please feel free to join A Life and Death Conversation ( Bring your unique perspective and hear heart-warming and inspiring stories and reflections from people around the world. Namaste.

Thank you for such a beautiful and important film. I very recently experienced the death of one of my closest and dearest friends. I was the only one present at the time of her passing, and it was such an honor to be there with her - an experience I'll never forget and one that has changed my view of life and death forever. Although I miss her embodied self, I'm still in communication with her, just a different relationship than the one we had before. Life never ends, it simply changes.

Thank you for making such a meaningful film. I have spent 20 years working with our wise elders and found the process from life to death an honor to witness, especially with my closest friends. It is not something I can share readily in my field, but happy to know there is a family of individuals who understand me. Thank you for making the impossible possible.

Thank you to IONS for once again supporting such a meaningful valued effort. I especially appreciate Angeles Arrien Second Half of Life that encourages us to embrace passages. My personal experience is of vivid soulful symbol and imagery as I have sat witness, been in circles of support and offered simple fundamental caretaking for dying friends and loved ones. Each one is unique and a gift as I continue to learn from the experience of sitting with and embracing death. " Birth is a beginning and Death ia destination."

There is no way to give back what I have received, but joy and awareness have been my gift after experiencing an NDE and a medical diagnosis of "there is nothing we can do for you"! Here I am more alive and vital than ever before.

      Steve Villano

Carol and I made a $100 contribution this morning for “Death Makes Life Possible” in honor of Adele Rinaldi, the mother of IONS supporter Bo Rinaldi. Adele Rinaldi passed away two weeks ago, and was the kind of woman whose life--and death-made the loving of life possible for many, many others. We urge all supporters of IONS to make contributions to this important film in honor of their friends or family members who deaths continue to underscore what constitutes a well-lived life.

      Be well.

Almost reached the goal which shows how much and how many people yearn for this project. Really gratefull to be a part of it.

Lost my mother when I was young and became resentfull and angry. 21 years of her physical death I performed a ceremony in my mother's honour. She has been unreacheable for me for 21 years en now she is living proof for me that death makes life possible. Ever since that ceremony I have been able to live deeply.

Thank you for starting this project and thank you for giving me the opportunity to become a backer :-)

    23. Elmar Dornberger on June 21, 2012

I have had the great fortune to represent, (stand in, embody) a person that was dying and it was one of the most beautiful experiences in my life. It was full of light, weightless, quite and peaceful. No worries, only thankfulness and longing to move to this new place. An upward movement into the light above.
This experience can be repeated it is not unique to me. I used a process called Systemic Constellation, that allows us to step into another persons experience and we experience the same. It is most likely using our mirror neurons.
This project will help a lot of people, thank you, yours, Elmar

Perhaps the most meaningful books/material on this subject that we have ever read came from the hypnotherapy work documented by Dr. Michael Newton, Journey of Sous and Destiny of Souls. The coherent and very comprehensible scenario of the afterlife (between lives and in the Spiritual Realm) seemed quite plausible, intuitively resonant, and allowed us to better understand the picture presented by Seth (Jane Roberts) in Seth Speaks.

If it's not too late, perhaps you might consider looking at his books and seeing if he might be able to contribute to the film???
