If we do not achieve our Kickstarter goal in the next 13 hours then none of the funds raised through this campaign will be paid out and we will receive zero funding from Kickstarter - you won't be charged either! But we will never give up - we're going to keep making Stardale.

If you want to support us directly you can pre-purchase Stardale on our website with PayPal. We still offer all the backer rewards on our website with an interface that is a lot cleaner than what Kickstarter is capable of providing.

I'm going to keep programming Stardale, Jose is going to keep producing artwork, and in fact we will continue to build this great game. You can see on our website we've already made so much progress in the past month and we're progressing at a steady pace.

We would love for you to support us through our website and help keep food on our tables while we develop Stardale. Stardale WILL be an exciting, fun, open space sandbox/open world sandbox single/multiplayer creative game! We would love for you to be a part of it.

Hey folks,

Regardless of our Kickstarter goal being reached or not we're going to continue working hard to bring you the next awesome procedural generated multiplayer space exploration game! We would be thrilled if you would still support us through our website where the rewards are still available to everyone! You can pre-purchase Stardale today and receive the same great rewards we are offering to backers through Kickstarter, but on our website using PayPal for payment processing! 

Beginning on October 26, pre-purchases made through our website will automatically give you backer forum badges and website distinctions on your forum account. It is important to remember that if you backed us on Kickstarter.com and if we don't reach our goal then you are not charged through Kickstarter and we receive absolutely no funding from this Kickstarter campaign - hence we kindly ask you to support us through our website instead. We are using PayPal on our website, the worlds largest online secure payment processor. Kickstarters payment system is completely separate from ours.

Our experience with Kickstarter has been mixed. There is definitely a lot left to be desired for those creating campaigns on here. Nonetheless, while our goal is likely not to be reached on Kickstarter and as a result we won't receive any funding from this campaign, Stardale saw growth regardless and we will continue without Kickstarter. So onward and forward to the future, lets build something great together!

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!

Hey everyone,

This weekend in Canada is thanksgiving and with that in mind I want to wish you all a happy thanksgiving! We've cleared the $1000 USD mark and with just under two weeks to go in our Kickstarter we still have time to reach our goal. Remember these backer rewards are for a limited time only to early supporters, once they're gone then they're gone forever! Sneak Peak of the Scorpio Class Shuttle

Cygnum Research and Development Corp. presents the Scorpio Class Shuttle. This early demo proudly reveals a test pilot showcasing the sleek and slender design of Cygnum R&D's most recent space technology project. Final details and the official name are still safely guarded in the lab.

This is a very early clip of in-space UI and space flight from my work today. It's not complete but you can begin to see mounting points on the ship and some space dust! It's likely to change a lot from here to alpha/beta/release but might as well show some progress for everyone to see!

Adventures in space continue!

Ladies and gents - it's time to cook the alien meat and potatoes from the shuttle bay molecular polarizer at zero-g. What? We're going to shift more of our focus now on in-space development to bring more of it into a playable reality. We already have some basic space components completed (as you can see in our preview video) but there's still a lot more work to do. A lot of people have been requesting to see more of this aspect of Stardale so I'm going to dive in and get the code whip cracking in this area of our game.  

In the art department, Jose is working hard and drawing some small, medium, and large ships ranging from shuttlecraft to battleship juggernauts; we're very excited to see them and can't wait to share some sneak peaks when they're ready. :)  

We've had plenty of good ideas and suggestions coming in on our forum and we love the feedback we've been receiving. :) Thanks to all new supporters backing us either on Kickstarter or our PayPal! Your support will do wonders to make sure all 3 of us working on this project are fed and working hard to bring you an amazing new game! 

Finally, we haven't hit our goal yet so if you haven't already or if you can spare some change feel free to pledge some love to a great group of indie dev's! :)
