UPDATE 24/06/14: As our way of saying "Thanks!" to the DIY community, we're adding an awesome stretch goal:
The STRETCH IT OUT Goal!
For our Maker's Kit backers, for every $10 you contribute over $25, you'll be getting an extra meter of WS2812 "NeoPixel" RGB LED strips. For example, if you choose the Maker's Kit Reward Option for $35, you'll be getting the Maker's Kit with 2 meters of RGB LED Strip. For $55, you'll receive the kit with 4 meters of RGB LED Strip.
You chose your project - let us help you make it happen.
This seven-channel graphic equalizer outputs an array of analog values to any Arduino-compatible microcontroller. These values correspond to seven frequency ranges, and can be used to control any part of your project. From light-up displays to robot bands to dancing 3D models, this board makes it simple to integrate music and sound with your imagination!
Efficiency - Uses only two digital pins, one analog pin, and about two dozen lines of code.
Seven Channel Response - Frequency ranges from 63hz - 16Khz
Individual Testing - To ensure that your project goes smoothly, every chip we ship will be tested in an actual project with actual music.
Example Code - Example code is provided for several projects, including large-scale graphic equalizers, color blending LED strips, and channel averaging for even larger projects.

Risks and challenges
The MSGEQ7 Breakout Board has already been designed and tested, and production proofs are in-hand. Suppliers have been identified and orders are ready to be placed.
MSGEQ7 chips do suffer from quality control issues. Our project has assumed a 20% failure rate to ensure financial security. This financial cushion, combined with individual unit testing, ensures that every backer will receive a fully operational breakout board.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
As of right now, no. We're looking into it and hope to change that answer by Sunday. After the Kickstarter has been fulfilled, we WILL be offering international shipping on our new website.
