About
The Forgotten Dungeon by Eddie Jonas
An old-school challenging 100+ page adventure. Introductions to the adventure by Ernest Gary Gygax Jr. and James M. Ward

The Forgotten Dungeon is an old school adventure that incorporates legendary artists from the days of TSR. Darlene created the original Greyhawk maps for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, plus other valuable early gaming works. This fantastic legend is the artist responsible for the masterful cover art for The Forgotten Dungeon. Diesel, the artist most remembered for his early Dungeons & Dragons dungeon art at TSR, has formed the new dungeon art for this adventure. It is the only recent dungeon by his hand. These artists have blessed this, The Forgotten Dungeon, with their reunion and their art, fits well, providing the feeling of the first edition.
One of the Forgotten Dungeon Maps

The versatility of The Forgotten Dungeon is owed in part to the included additional WCS statistics for use with WCS based games like 77 Worlds RPG and Dragonscales RPG by James M Ward and Stephen A Lee, allowing the adventure to work in both Fantasy and Sci-Fi games. 77 Worlds is a post-apocalyptic gaming system while Dragonscales is a new take on Fantasy RPGs.

This Mega Adventure includes a booklet of spell traps which can be incorporated into your own campaign adventures. Further, the included novella gives a 77W look at a band of adventurers as they navigate this very dungeon. The added value is another nod to old school works.
This adventure is designed to be challenging. The dungeon is ancient, partially rebuilt, repurposed through the ages, but now holds ties to an ancient desert goddess, ambitious mages, remnant magic from past and powerful illusionists, and areas of mystery. What, why, and other questions to ponder as you work through the tapestry...

A Word from Eddie
"I created The Forgotten Dungeon for different reasons, really, but giving back was certainly a major motivator. Gaming has held me in a soft palm, not looked down upon me. In the warmth of gaming, I've been safe, no little thing. I hoped to give to gaming and people like myself, who love it, something they could embrace and appreciate. I hope you appreciate my efforts and the love I've stitched into this project, The Forgotten Dungeon." -Eddie Jonas

Stretch Goals
UPDATE: Eddie will include D&D 5e statistics in the Adventure

If we raise $2k, Eddie will produce a follow on module. Mirror Mirror will continue the adventure in the halls of the Forgotten Dungeon as adventurers are transported to a parallel universe version where things are quite different in the chambers of this ancient place.

If we raise $3k. We will produce an Encounter Encyclopedia supplement with every creature, including illustrations, in the adventures and stats for every game system and version mentioned in this kickstarter.
Images from the Collectors Edition
We were asked to show some pictures of the book. Here are some pictures of the collectors edition from Garycon. The commercial version of The Forgotten Dungeon will be based on this version of the book with several enhancements and a few additions.

Layout

Risks and challenges
The writing for the Forgotten Dungeon is done, The art is done, Darlene's wonderful cover art is in hand along with Diesel's dungeon maps. Prototypes have been produced and a few sold at Garycon. Once we fund, we will complete the final product layout and send it off to the printer. The Adventure currently (before final layout) stands at 108 pages with maps. We will also begin work in July (before this KS ends) on Mirror Mirror, along with Dragonscales RPG and D&D 5e conversions depending on stretch goals achieved. Everything should ship before years end.
