The Good Night Project is the work of Hunter Carithers and John Tucker, both of whom grew up in South Carolina and have been making music since their days in high school. While Hunter spent time traveling the South as a singer-songwriter, John built a name for himself playing guitar and writing songs with several Carolina based bands. They both share a love of song-writing, which has brought about their collaboration on The Good Night Project.
Taking inspiration from the book of Psalms and the Hebrew phrase 'Laila Tov', which means "good night", Hunter and John have spent the past year writing songs based on God's sovereignty in times of darkness or 'night'. Through this time of study and writing came the idea of God's presence and Word being a 'song' in the 'night', offering calm, peace, and understanding to the listener. It's our goal that these songs would give that same sense of hope and enjoyment to all of you.
