I initially selected a color Jan 8, asked for an update on Feb 14, then I wrote to firstname.lastname@example.org on Feb 22 to ask again for an update on my order. No response so far. Would you please be able to give me an estimate of when I should expect a shipment?

If 'Team Soundskins' is so 'INCREDIBLY busy'...may I ask with what if you don't answer the backers emails or shipping products? Do you even take this campaign serious or do you just use this platform as a PR marketing for vanmokum?

Hi I haven't received my item. I was ok not receiving by Christmas...but this is ridiculous.
@Christian Rodriguez I've got the same issue. They have said 'The skin won't block any signals.'
I have received my Soundskins and love the design and appearance. My only issue is that the IR receivers on my Playbar seem to be a lot less receptive now with the Soundskin installed.

1. Which functions of the One will not work that well with the Play 1 skin?
Since the sizes of the ONE and Play 1 are exactly the same, the functions will work as well. However, we have designed the skins especially for the Sonos Play 1. The top of the Sonos speaker differs and this is for us the main reason to develop a new skin for the ONE.
2. Will there be problems with the touch controls or the microphone?
As far as we have tested, no.
3. Would you recommend me to wait to buy a Soundskin for the One until you release a Sonos One specific skin?
It's always better to have a design perfectly matched to the speaker. So, in that case, yes we do.
4. Also, do you think you’re going to use Kickstarter as a platform for the next round of Skins?
Good question and we will think this over :-). But no, we haven't talked about a 'new round' on Kickstarter yet. We do know the shipping will be free (worldwide) after the Kickstarter campaign too.

You can, of course, buy more skins after the Kickstarter campaign. However, the Kickstarter discount won't be available then. If you pledge more now and send us a message (firstname.lastname@example.org), we will make sure you will receive all skins (in the colors you prefer).
Are we able to add more skins when the Kickstarter ends? Or do we have to pledge the extra amount and follow up with a message
After the campaign has ended, you will receive an email from us. You can let us know your preferred colors then. Due to the Christmas season, it will be in the first week of January. You will receive your Soundskins later in January.
How do we use the giftcards?

You can upgrade your pledge, by adjusting the amount. In your case, it will be €35 + €28 (2x Soundskins for your Sonos Play 1 + 1x Soundskin for your Sonos Play 3). After the campaign has finished we will contact you for your preferred color(s) and address.
The exact combination of Soundskins that I want is not available as a reward (1 Play 3, and 2 Play 1s). Will we be able to add more Soundskins using Backerkit or some other method?

So sorry. I thought I had commented on your post already. But yes, the infrared signal of your remote is still usable with the Soundskin on the Playbar. The skin won't block any signals.

Hi Joshua, I hereby would like to give you my answer, as promised. The skin fits the Sonos ONE as written before. And most functions will still be usable as is on the Sonos Play 1. Will the covers designed for the PLAY:1 work with Sonos One? In particular can the touch sensitive controls on top of the Sonos One be used?
Any news on the question that Emily Lam has asked about the remote infrared signals on the soundbar? That was something I never thought about.

Hi, Question about the X-Mas delivery. The funding lasts till 28 of december. That is after Christmas. But I can only select the colour after completion. So How Do I select the colour of my skin?
Dear Emily, thank you for your kind interest in Soundskins! When your Sonos speaker is wearing Soundskins, you won't lose any WiFi connection and you can use your phone, tablet or laptop normally. This means it also has to work with the remote control and those signals. However, one of the creators, who knows best, is on a plane as we speak. I will ask him tomorrow, just to be extra sure. I am asking because I am currently relying on the infrared transmitter on the playbar to control my tv.
