About this project
Fat Zombie is a funny little dice game, a game that melded two of our favorite pastimes: rolling dice and eating. Combined, they form an easy, fun-to-play game about trying to eat as many people as possible to become the fattest zombie! For once you become the fattest zombie... then you shall be King! Why King? Zombies don't care about money, political power or fundraising; they only care about brains. Not even the quality of brain eaten, merely the quantity.
So you and your friends (2-4) set out upon the grandest adventure: to eat as many brains as possible from the hapless humans! But be wary, for the humans are not without the means to defend themselves, and the fattest zombie may soon become the dead undead!
Playing Fat Zombie only takes about twenty minutes, even if you have never played the game. You and your friends are Zombies that wander the streets, looking for delicious brains! On your turn, you draw the top card of the deck and play it for all to see. You will then roll the die to see if you eat the human, if he escapes(Allows another Zombie to try) or hides(back into the deck), or if he kills you! For example, on Colonel Grampa (pictured below), if you roll a 1, 3, or a 5, he kills you, forcing you to discard all of your cards and start over!
However, if you roll 'BRAAAINS!!!' then you eat the human! When this happens, you get access to their Osmosis Skill. You have absorbed some facet of your victim by eating their brain. The more humans you eat, the more Osmosis Skills you gain!
In addition to the humans you will find, you can gain Zombie Power ups! These cards are one use special powers, so use them wisely.
But Dice of March! How do I win the game? [you ask]
Well, [insert name here], that's simple! The game ends when there are no cards left in the deck! The Zombie who has eaten the most brains is the smartest Zombie. That Zombie wins the game and is crowned King!
When you meet a human, you can roll...
• BRAAAINS!!!: You have caught and eaten the human. You have devoured its brain and acquired its unique skill!
• HIDES!: The human has hidden somewhere (that is, the bottom of the deck). It is safe... for now!
• ESCAPES!: The human has escaped you. Your fellow zombies now get a chance to eat it!
• DIES!: The human has met its untimely end, before you got to eat it!
• KILLS!: The human has fought you off and killed you... dead-er. Keep playing, this time as another, skinnier zombie--a zombie out for revenge!
Power-up cards can give you additional skills, items, and tricks you can use to raise the stakes or even save your zombie undead life!
Who will eat the most humans and become the ultimate Fat Zombie???

Risks and challenges
We promise you, our backers and supporters, to deliver a quality game, and to use your money and faith in us to deliver future great games.
But our risks do not come from the challenge of creating a quality game, but rather ensuring we will continue to do so in the future. As with any business venture, it has its risks and challenges, but we have four dedicated, fun-loving gamers, along with the support of our friends, and, most importantly, our backers.
This will be our third game (if funded), and we wanted to try something a little smaller. Each of our Kickstarter projects has taught us something. Our first game, Asylum, was all about trying to make our own game, seeing how people would respond, and learning how to produce and ship a card game. With Pirate's Booty, our second game, we worked to refine the process, to test new methods and to perfect old ones. For Fat Zombie we wanted to try a simple game; each game had grown in complexity, and we wanted to scale back and try something simple.
As always, our advantage is that we are a team of people with the ability to work together or delegate smaller tasks of a larger problem. We are dedicated to making Fat Zombie a reality!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
