The 2,700,000.00HKD I intend on raising is for the sole purpose of turning my vision and dream into reality. The capital will be used for securing the location, the setup of the operation, employing the correct staff. A good business needs a good leader and I thoroughly believe I am capable of leading my brand into success! I’ve studied the Hong Kong F&B industry extensively. Been doing many events and building a solid network. I’ve come to understand what works and what doesn’t. Baked will be owner operated and I will make sure, I deliver every milestone I laid out for the Baked brand. My purpose is to create an environment for both customers and staff to feel comfortable. A place where people come to because they want to be there. They want to be a part of. An eatery is not just about good food, it’s about the whole package. The staff, the energy, the price, the layout of the space, the layout of the environment, the music, the small details that make people want to be in your space instead of someone else’s. At Baked we plan to create longing! Longing for what we offer. Going to bed thinking about waking up earlier because you want to come past and grab a coffee and a breakfast before heading to the office. Having your business meetings over lunch. Meeting friends or a loved one for dinner and drinks. Because it’s THAT place. The place, it just all makes sense to be a part of. And that’s what I want to create along with my team. Risks and challenges

With the project being a work in progress, we have not secured a location yet. I have found a location, I am very much interested in, its a great site for Baked. However, we need to raise capital to proceed with the list below:

* Pay deposit and secure location
* Secure staff - The team is complete
* Pay license consultant, designer and, contractors - All of them have been briefed and are ready to go upon payment
* Operating cost for first 3 months - HK is a very tough and saturated market. It requires key strategy, planning and a solid team behind the brand. - I've been doing a lot of pop-ups throughout HK and spending time with the best in the industry, really understanding why their businesses are successful, what their shortcomings are. Mostly it boils down to staff, rent and, consistency. I've taken a pivotal role in hiring my staff. Most of them have worked with me before, so I know them well and the rest come from reputable establishments throughout HK, the team is not very big it consists only of 7 people including me. We're all share the same vision of making Baked a success and doing our best at all times. Each player is incredibly passionate which is quite rare in HK and I've been lucky. Regarding the landlord, we have had an extensive conversation and negotiation on the lease of the shop. Our lease agreement will be in 100% mutual alignment and very clear in black & white the conditions of our agreement to eliminate any risk of surprise on that front. From a consistency perspective, it is one of my main objectives to keep consistency to its best all the time, I've learned from previous mistakes myself and I'm ready for the journey. I focus very much on standard and quality control. It's a big driver in the success of a good and consistent eatery.

I have an advantage, there are not many artisan bakeries in HK. Especially none that have a 49 year old sourdough starter. I'm a sixth generation artisan baker. Also not many places serve great breakfast here. I want to change that by serving the best breakfast in HK. And flipping a concept from the day boutique bakery cafe to making it into something a party in a bakery serving eclectic tapas and cocktails is something not been done before. No one in Asia mills their own flour, at Baked we will.

As for the rewards, they will only be sent out once the restaurant is open and running. Because right now we are still trying to secure the funding. The business plan, financials, forecasts and setup are all complete. The team is complete, the stakeholders are ready to go, site is ready to be secured but we need YOUR SUPPORT. Please help me make my vision a reality. It would be much appreciated as the founder and vision behind Baked this is my life. I love creating beautiful food for people, I have so much fun doing also interacting and meeting different people. I want to inspire many people around the world. That you can do anything you believe in. Once Baked is off the ground, I'd like to do another fundraising run to launch the first of a series of cookbooks with the first being called "The Journey to BAKED" It will be about my first year in HK, the trial & tribulations, the breakthroughs, understanding and adapting to a new continent and city I'd never been to before. How I adjusted and infiltrated and the 150 recipes I created throughout that first year.
