About this project
Well hello there folks, thanks for taking a look at my kickstarter campaign! This is my first campaign to raise funds, therefore it will always be the first and most important step in taking my music career to the next level.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I am from Mobile, Alabama. I am 26 years old, and I moved to Nashville a little over three years ago. I love it here and I am finally studied and tested enough to fulfill my goal of making a record that I am proud to share with the music industry and the public.
I will be splitting it into two EPs and will release separately.
With how costly it can be to record these days, it's going to be challenging, but I won't be able to do it without a little help from fans, friends, family, and even perfect strangers. So with that being said, here is what your generosity and love for music will be going towards:
-Musicians -Engineering/Production/Mastering of the EPs -All overhead costs of duplication for the hard copies of the EPs-Photography/videography for kickstarter page and behind the scenes costs- Album Design/Artwork-Reward/Merchandise Costs
We will have a month to make our goal of $10,000 and here is where I really need your help. Don't get me wrong, it would not be fair if I, myself, did not put into the project as well. So I am here to tell you that I, in fact, will be putting some of my own money to get this thing started.
How will we do it? Well, that's where you and I both come in. It's going to take you all and myself helping spread this Kickstarter around to enough people where we can quickly reach our goal.
It will take hard work on my end to spread the word. But believe you me, I will give it my all. But, it will also take kind folks like ya'll to get it out there to enough people that we will make our goal.
You could be asking at this point, "What's in it for me?" and I will tell you: My management team and I have come up with several creative rewards to show our appreciation for the help on this record. Go check out the rewards section and see for yourself! We will be delivering all the goodies to you by mail or in person depending on your reward package.
If we do not reach our goal of $10,000 before the 30 day period, your money will, in fact, be refunded to you, and that means we won't have what we need to finish making the record... BUT I BELIEVE IN THIS. We can do it! Consider it a start up to a business, and you are the investors! If you believe in my product, this thing will take off.
I'm so excited to show you what we will making for you in the studio. This is the result of everything I've worked on for the last six years. With all these amazing musicians I am honored to call my friends, the result will be something we all can be proud of.

Risks and challenges
Just as when any general project gets started, occasionally it can have its small, or even sometimes huge setbacks; Things taking longer than expected, it's not quite perfect enough. You know the drill. However, that doesn't mean it won't be completed.
For our project, there may be an instance where we run into a challenge preventing us from meeting our original deadlines for release dates, delivery dates, etc. Here are some examples of potential risks and challenges involved in this project.
Studio Time- If you've been in a studio before, you know how it feels when you just aren't hitting the note you want to hit, or you got slower or faster than the click. It feels like things just aren't flowing right, and you just have to regroup for a little bit. Right? Well, seeing that these things happen sometimes, we (my team and I) may be inclined to politely ask for some small patience from our backers, only to reassure that we want the finished product to, for lack of better term, knock your socks off. :)
Merchandise- As you see in the rewards section, I have mentioned a few merchandising options for the packages themselves. The challenge here is that sometimes the manufacturers can have a lack of time on their side as well, and it may take a little longer to get things like Koozies and Posters for the desired date of our delivery.
The only real risk upon completing the funding for the project is that we aren't too hasty on our decisions with the campaign funds. So let me reiterate that I can leave you confident that everything we do with the money raised by this project will be going to towards incredible reward packages, and most importantly the making and completion of both EPs.
Lastly, please keep in mind that the second EP's release date will be announced after the release of the first Johnny Hayes EP. Therefore, anyone choosing a package with the second EP as a reward, it will come a little bit later than the first, but still before it gets to the general public. ;)
These are just a couple things that we may run into. But to sum it up, we appreciate your patience through the process of getting your rewards and the two EPs perfect for you to the very last detail. Thanks so much for being a part of this with me! Love you backers!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
