Dynamic Technology Concepts, LLC (DYNATEC) has developed MPG+ which represents a new generation of Advanced Friction-Reducing and Extreme Pressure Technology. MPG+ is a concentrated, fully synthetic liquid hydrocarbon, combining specific anti-friction and extreme pressure (EP) compounds, which provides superior lubrication because it forms a covalent molecular bond with metals, creating a completely new complex metal compound surface without altering established tolerances. MPG+ can significantly reduce friction and improve a lubricant's ability to withstand extreme pressures. Numerous laboratory and vehicle field tests proved that MPG+ reduces friction, increases horsepower and torque, improves fuel economy and radically reduces engine wear. All you need to do to take advantage of all these benefits is add one 10 ounce bottle of MPG+ to your crankcase when you do your standard oil change.
After many years of research, development, testing and obtaining patents, DYNATEC is now ready to introduce MPG+ to the automotive retail aftermarket, specifically, the automotive and Industrial chemical markets. In order to achieve these goals, DYNATEC has elected to use the innovative resource of Kickstarter to obtain the required operating capital, because it views Kickstarter as the most innovative, credible and viable option to achieve its corporate and financing goals.
We are confident that the many years of research, development and testing we have invested has enabled us to create a unique product that has no equal. The test data that we include below, which are but a few of many examples that we will share, is clear evidence that the performance of MPG+ is unequaled. We believe and trust that many Kickstarter backers will agree and eagerly become one of our family of early adopters, believers and supporters.
We are certain that MPG+ will benefit the lives of all that use it in numerous ways including: improving vehicle performance, saving money by reducing harmful and expensive engine wear, significantly improving fuel economy, and reducing harmful emissions. We are confident that the fuel savings over the life of an oil change will more than pay the $29.95 retail cost per bottle of MPG+.
The test data and reports we present below are the result of controlled and highly sophisticated tests that were performed by Petro-Lubricant Testing Laboratories, Inc., an ISO certified testing facility and Ev Bernardo, owner of EB3 Motorsports, Inc., an extremely reputable high performance speed and automotive repair establishment. In addition, EB3 Motorsports operates a successful drag race team.

2010 Jeep Rubicon
Six months ago, I got a chance to try MPG+ in my 2010 Jeep Rubicon. I added a 10 ounce bottle to my crankcase and after driving a short distance, I immediately noticed that my Jeep was running smoother and quieter. In addition, the Jeep had better acceleration. I keep a record of my mileage and keep an eye on my mileage computer as well. I was amazed to watch the mileage increase from the 17 miles per gallon (MPG) I was getting to 21 MPG. That’s an increase of 4 MPG, which means I’m got a staggering 23.5% increase in fuel economy.
I told a friend of mine about what MPG+ did for my Jeep and he was very skeptical and told me he didn’t believe it. I was able to get a bottle of MPG+ for him and he tried it. He called me the day after he put it in and told me he thought his Jeep was running quieter and smoother. I jokingly told him that was just his imagination ... it wasn't. A week or so later, he called me and told me that he took a trip to North Carolina, returning to a place he frequently goes. He told me that he ALWAYS has to stop for fuel ¾’s of the way. He told me that he did not need fuel at the ¾’s mark and drove all the way, without refilling. That means he got at least a 25% increase in fuel economy. He was blown away.
I will be adding MPG+ to every oil change from now on, because I know it improves my Jeep’s mileage and performance. I guess that’s why the MPG+ slogan is “Mileage, Performance and Protection … Guaranteed!"
2006 Cooper Mini S
The test protocol was that a standard oil change was performed by EB3 Motorsports, Inc. on a 2006 Cooper Mini S at 109,585 miles using Mobil 1 motor oil. A sample of the fresh oil was drawn as Test sample #1. The Mini was driven for 1,000 miles and oil Test sample #2 was extracted. Then MPG+ was added, and the Mini was driven 200 miles. Oil Test sample #3 was then drawn at 1,200 miles. This drive and sample procedure was repeated two more times at 2,200 miles and 3,200 miles. All of the test samples were sent to Petro-Lubricant Testing Laboratories, Inc., for testing. Each oil sample was tested using a sophisticated test method for determination of metals in lubricating oils and greases, specifically, Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emissions Spectrometry (ASTM D7303). The full data sheets are available but here, we have summarized and graphed the impressive results below. We have selected key elements from the oil sample to describe the changes. For more information on why elements show up in this report, see BOB is the Oil Guy’s blog post.
Here we can see that iron and aluminum are the primary wear metals and that at 1,000 miles after the oil change these wear metals are present in the oil. MPG+ was added, and after 2,200 additional miles were driven, for a total of 3,200 miles after the oil change, the amount of aluminum wear metal in the oil was 26% less than it was at the 1,000 mile test. The iron wear metal in the oil was 15% less than it was at the 1,000 mile test. The driver of the vehicle also documented a 21.2% increase in fuel economy after MPG+ was added, going from 26.4 mpg to 32.07 mpg. This test proved that MPG+ virtually eliminates wear and allows the engine to rid itself of harmful wear metals during normal operation!
1985 Suzuki Samurai
I wanted to learn more about what the potential real beneficial effects of MPG+ were if it is added to the crankcase motor oil of a vehicle that did not have the sophisticated MAPS computer settings. For that reason, I suggested that we use my 1985 Suzuki Samurai, which I have driven to my speed shop every day for the past eight years. The operating settings for this vehicle are all made manually, i.e the timing, points dwell and the fuel/air mixture. Thereafter, those settings remain constant. If the performance capabilities of MPG+ were going to be truly tested, my Samurai would be the perfect test bed to determine whether or not MPG+ can do all that is claimed that it can do. MPG+ performed MUCH better than I had expected. Before and after dynamometer tests revealed that MPG+ improved the Samurai’s horsepower from 45 HP to 53.8 HP and the torque from 108.6 Clb-ft to 129.4 Clb-ft, which is an increase of 19.56% for horsepower and 19.15% for torque. I was so shocked, I ran the tests 3 more times, just to be sure there was no error. THERE WAS NO ERROR! In addition, the fuel mileage improvement was equally impressive. The Samurai now gets 15% better city fuel mileage.
There is an interesting side note to the performance of my Samurai. As I said, I have driven the Samurai to work virtually every day for the past eight years. During my drive to work, I try very hard to avoid being stopped at a certain traffic light at an intersection that is located about a quarter of a mile from the bottom of a large hill. The reason for this is that if I get stopped at that traffic light, I have to drive the Samurai as hard and as fast as I can in an effort to get up to the speed limit of 45 mph before I get to the bottom of the hill. In the past, being able to do that has been impossible! The fastest I have been able to go is 40 mph by the time I reach the bottom of the hill. Because I was not able to achieve sufficient speed, the Samurai slowed down to 35 mph as it climbed the hill, which results in the people behind me honking their horns, complaining that I am going too slow.
Shortly after completing the MPG+ testing, I got stopped at the problem traffic light. Fortunately, I have MPG+ in my crankcase oil, although, I had forgotten about it. As is my habit, I drove the Samurai like it is my drag race car (as hard and as fast as I could), slamming through the gears and flooring the accelerator, trying to go as fast as possible before getting to the bottom of the hill. To my astonishment, by the time I had reached the bottom of the hill, the Samurai was going 45 mph, which is faster than it has ever been able to go. When I started up the hill, the Samurai did not slow down; in fact it kept speeding up all the way to the top of the hill. It has never been able to do that in the eight years I have been driving it to work. This incredible increase in performance is due solely to the addition of 10 ounces of MPG+ to my engine oil!
Power and Mileage Test Summary by Ev Bernardo ~ EB3 Motorsports
1968 Pontiac GTO
Before and after dynamometer tests were performed on a 1968 Pontiac GTO, with a 400 C.I. engine. Testing by Ev Bernardo at EB3 Motorsports.
Peak horsepower increased immediately upon adding the MPG+ and continued to increase until the horsepower went from 195.6 hp to 205.3 hp, a 9.7 hp gain or a 4.96% increase.
Peak torque went from 268.5 lb-ft to 281.4 lb-ft, a 12.9 pound-feet gain or a 4.8% increase. It must be noted that the initial tests were made in December and the tests at 200 miles were made in June, 6 months AFTER the initial tests. The significance of this fact is that the power of a car is greater in cold weather, because the air is more dense, which means that the engine gets more oxygen. Therefore, the horsepower and torque the car is developing is actually GREATER than the test results show. The engine is actually continuing to increase in power, the longer the MPG+ remains in the engine. Mileage tests have been performed on the GTO and it is getting 8% better fuel economy.
When purchasing a product, one must ask themselves, what benefit(s) will buying a certain product give me. The answer with respect to MPG+ is simple … you get better “Mileage, Performance and Protection ... GUARANTEED!”
The fuel savings achieved by using MPG+ typically MORE than offsets the cost of using it. That means that MPG+ is not merely expense to protect your engine, it is an INVESTMENT that gives the user a return on their hard earned money.
In addition, DYNATEC will be posting test data that proves that by providing better fuel economy, MPG+ reduces harmful emissions, which helps to protect our environment. Using MPG+ is a more than a WIN-WIN for you, the consumer, your car, and the planet! We hope Kickstarter participants will have the same confidence in MPG+ that we have and will become our backers and join an elite group of early adopters of MPG+. Thank you!
Risks and challenges
The biggest challenge we have will be producing the product. Since we are a new customer to the manufacturer with which we have made arrangements for production, they will not purchase the raw materials needed to manufacture our product until we place our order with them. Receiving the raw materials to the manufacturer could take two weeks from the date the manufacturer places orders for the raw materials. Blending, bottling and labeling our product then has to be placed on their production schedule. Thus, we have made an arrangement with the manufacturer so that when we place an order, the manufacturer will order the raw materials and put us into their production schedule. That will help to eliminate a prolonged delay for distribution. As we begin to order on a regular basis, the manufacturer will stock the raw materials, in order to produce our product more quickly.
We have also made arrangements a logistics company and fulfillment house to warehouse, pack and ship our product to Kickstarter backers and later to internet purchasers, as well as to local retailers. Additional logistics companies will be used on an as needed basis to deliver product to other locations nationally and globally, as the situation warrants.
John Roberts’ experience in the automotive retail aftermarket, as Vice-President of another small oil additive company has given him the experience with managing a company such as DYNATEC, enabling him to predict the issues that might impact sales of MPG+ and the family of products that will be marketed.
In short, we believe we have addressed the risks and challenges involved with our project and have put mechanisms in place to deal with them.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
