This project was successfully funded on May 2, 2012.
First of all, a very sincere thanks to all of you who have donated thus far. Your generosity is greatly appreciated! We've come a long way, but we've got even further to go!
If you're asking yourself, "How can I be sure that these students are even worth feeding? How do I know they're any good?" then I invite you to see for yourself!
The video was shot entirely by our students. Every last bit of it, from the lights, to dressing the set, to running the camera. Brian, Chris and Trevin stood aside and let them do all the hard work, utilizing the skills they've been taught during the course. Not only did they shoot the entire short film themselves, but they accomplished the task in 50 minutes! That's right, they designed the shots, set up the equipment, and captured the footage all in the span of a single class period. Then they all went to their next classes and studied hard and aced their finals, ensuring them each a bright future. At least, that's what we imagine happened. Basically what we're saying is, we couldn't be prouder of how they performed.
So, if you've been apprehensive about donating because you had any doubts about the students' abilities, let this dissuage your fears. Brian, Chris and Trevin are soaring with confidence for this summer's production after seeing the class in action, and we hope you are too!
