"Getting to Know You"
If you could take a road trip with any one person -- dead or alive, real or fictional -- who would it be? Where would you go?
This anthology began life as a creative challenge in the Comics Experience workshop group, a getting to know you exercise that would also create a series of unique short stories. Figures ranged from the relatively obscure (Romantic poet John Clare) to the universally acclaimed (Charlie Chaplin), as well as the... abstract (Grim Reaper). Roads (Not) Taken travels across a broad landscape of genres, tones, and artistic styles to take you on a truly memorable journey.

About Comics Experience
Created by former Marvel and IDW Publishing editor Andy Schmidt, the vision for Comics Experience is simple: create the comics courses that Andy wished existed when he was trying to break into the industry and learn the skills needed to become a professional comics creator/editor. In addition to intro and advanced courses on comics writing, art, production and more, Comics Experience offers an online workshop forum where creators can post their work for critique by working industry professionals as well as other members of the workshop group. The Workshop also features live monthly discussions on industry topics and creative techniques, hosted by Andy Schmidt and guest pros.
