This is an explanation.

We are all going to die. And depending on who you are, what you do with that information can lead to religion, a life dedicated to accumulating wealth, or maybe it puts you in a chicken suit.

The short film of ROGER was just scratching the surface of a bigger story we wanted to tell between characters struggling to define their place in a noisy world. This darkly comic web series will dig deeper into the curious and try-anything world of Roger and Monica as they unpack the world around them. We'll also meet more of their awesome friends as well as the über-hip and mundane worlds in which they find themselves thriving--and clashing.

We are approaching each "episode" as a short-form vignette, with a stylized visual composition. And keeping a keen eye on art direction, we will use a primary color palate to enhance our carefully composed shots, captured on the awesome RED.

We are already in pre-production and have a crack team that is so stoked about jumping into production this March. Our creative and production experience ranges from award-winning feature films, TV series, and late night talk shows to Broadway, Off-Bway, and regional theatre. And even wrestling.

We are very humbled to have had the following festivals give us their attention and honors:

Risks and challenges

Whether working on set for a film, TV series, or in theatre, things happen. Preparation is everything and should something inevitable occur, with the right planning and a top-notch creative and production team in place working together to problem solve, then nothing is insurmountable. We are confident we have that team. Our pre-production will set us up for seamless shoot come Mar 1, 2013.

So, while we could list the myriad acts of God or the financial or production circumstances that could detour us from our shared vision, we will simply say that anything can happen and that we are ready for it.

Unless it's aliens. No one's really prepared for that. Or Jesus. Aliens or Jesus.

That all said, the web series is coming into its own in a very crowded marketplace. We will be hiring a publicist to elevate our exposure and expand our audience.
