About this project
The Pittsburgh Black Hat Society Network is an organization dedicated to building community among Pagans, Witches, and Sundry folks. It is diligently working on bringing bigger and better events to Western Pennsylvania area .
Our three top goals are:
1) To become non-profit;
2) To build a storage shed to store all of our props and supplies;
3) To fund our largest event, the Pittsburgh Witches Ball.
The Pittsburgh Witches Ball / The Dead Can Walk is an annual event we host each year. While it is Pagan in nature, the Witches Ball is open to all faiths and spirituality. The event will be November 3th, 2012, with a Day of Dead March on November 2nd, 2012.
We are also looking for advertisers for the program & sponsors. Right now we need to raise enough to cover the program cost, and to make sure we have the food and hall rental covered. Ticket sales always start in October, so working capital is thin. We price things to only cover the cost of the event, and are left with little for our next big event: Winter Solstice.
We bring in top Pagan acts like Frenchy & The Punk ( aka the Gypsy Nomads ), Brian Henke, & performance artist Pixie Della Fiamma and DJ Alora. We decorate the hall beautifully, and show non-pagans a traditional Pagan celebration & Ritual.
P.S.: We are working on bring in a new act this year (someone big!), and this will cost more moola.
