@Viral Videos: We do appreciate your opinion but the science behind what we are trying to do with this project is extensive. We don't claim that weight-loss can EVER be easy. Even with our device, dedication to a program of regular use and coping with the initial chill of the stimulation will be necessary. Proper nutrition and exercise are also very important aspects of any weight-loss journey. We are simply providing people with an extra tool to try to achieve their goals that represents a different vertical of calorie burning that currently readily exists in a product. Our goal is to help people approach their goals in a more holistic way and not to claim to be some sort of miracle solution.

@NERO: Thank you for your message. We have a filmed segment on CNBC's Power Pitch segment airing in mid-April with third parties reviewing the vest. Please feel free to watch it. We are transparent about estimating the calorie burning effects in a quantified way based on a literature review. When we have our trials done we will no longer need to say "estimated". We have government funded studies going on at York University in Toronto and are beginning extenstive indepedent trials as soon as we have enough 2.0 vests to do so. The battery is located in the arch of the back and is a customized design so it fits the shape there. We are releasing an update before the campaign is over about the location of the battery since it has been a popular question. Please look out for that very soon. @Oli: Thank you for your message. The Peltier elements currently have a surface area of about 2 by 2 inches and stimulate the the upper chest and upper back. You can see the locations of their placement in the video of the 1.0. We currently one use 2 as our theoretical research seems to suggest this should still yield positive results while allowing us to vastly conserve battery power and thus extend the lifespan. The material covering the Peltier is designed to help the cool spread out so the cooling sensation is felt over a wider area than the Peltier itself on the upper and back and chest where thermoreceptor concentrations are high. @NERO: The 2.0 prototype is in a design stage with rudimentary functionality as we continue to implement features from the 1.0 to the 2.0 in a minimalist way and consider even more efficient additions as we do so.

Other than the videos of the functional 1.0 vest that we have provided links to in a previous update, what would you like to see to make you comfortable the 1.0 vest works? It's fully functional and Bluetooth connected and we can share more if you have additional questions.

@Chandu: Thank you for your message. We're very sorry if we were not clear in the video and on our page but the 2.0 prototype is not at the level of sophistication you are asking to see yet. It is not Bluetooth-connected yet etc. because it is not scheduled to be shipped until December and we are making improvements before that time.

The 1.0 version IS fully functional and Bluetooth-connected demonstrating the technology is completely viable. We simply need to implement a few new features to help slim down the design to the 2.0 vest seen in the video while improving the battery etc.

The 2.0 simply extends the concepts of the 1.0 (which are working very smoothly) and minimizing the design. We don't foresee any substantial hurdles with these modifications. Let us know if you have further questions.
