Kickstarter has proven to be the best method to launch and expand a new range of miniatures. Kickstarter has enabled a renascence in miniatures by allowing manufacturers to appeal directly to their fan base. With the success of our Kickstarters, we were able to have several more figures sculpted, printed and put into production than we initially planned. The funding level directly affects the expansion of the range with our backers literally funding our efforts with their venture capital. What better way to participate in creating the miniatures you want while supporting the hobby we love?
Risks and challenges
There is practically no chance of this project not being fulfilled once the successful funding level is reached. Fortress Figures is one of the oldest professional miniatures production companies with more than three decades of experience casting the finest white metal miniatures with capabilities for casting several thousand figures per day. All molding and casting is done in house by our dedicated staff of three well experienced individuals. Only the sculpting is outsourced and the sculpting portion of the project is already completed. We have again, allowed ourselves what we consider to be an extraordinarily abundant amount of time to complete this project. We have, so far, completed 9 Kickstarter projects and a 10th project on track for completion before the end of this campaign. A quick look at our previous Kickstarters will show that we shipped rewards to backers well ahead of schedule. We believe we have a 100% backer satisfaction record after nine successful kickstarters and a 10th one in process. We're not perfect but if a problem does arise we do our honest best to resolve any issues.
An unforeseen event, though unlikely, could be, well, unforeseen. Should anything go awry, I pledge to keep our backers up to date on any delays or scheduling changes that might occur.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
