CHECK OUT THE TRAILER CREATED FROM LAST YEAR'S EVENT:
'SUP MAGAZINE (est.1998) creates unique sonic experiences and documents them in limited edition publications and online. We'll be on-site capturing this event for the 'SUP MAGAZINE DESERT ISSUE (released 02/14). A DAY IN THE DESERT invites you to become part of the legacy that will be left behind.
This year's event will take place at Boulder Gardens, a desert oasis nestled within 640 acres of private, preserved land. This majestic sanctuary and permaculture garden is a reminder of what is possible when people co-exist holistically with nature.
This event will be the backdrop for a special limited edition of 'SUP MAGAZINE... THE DESERT ISSUE. We believe experiences like this deserve to be documented.

Risks and challenges
The project builds on our successful event in 2012. Having learned much along the way, we are aware of many of the potential risks and challenges associated with producing and promoting an environmentally conscious micro-festival in the desert. One specific challenge we need to overcome is to leave no trace on the land. In this regard, all guests are encouraged to bring their own water container / supply of water, personal cutlery and plate/bowl. Individuals are responsible for removing all trash from the campsite so that we can live harmoniously with this special natural environment.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
