Hello. I'm Matt. I like to make pictures of robots.
If you've seen any of my previous Kickstarter projects, you'll know that I also like to take those pictures and put them together into books. So far, there have been three collections of my robot artwork; Transmissions, Transmissions 2 and Transmissions 3. With your help, I'd like to make Transmissions 4.
The new book will follow the same format as the previous volumes; A4 in size, 36 full colour pages and perfect bound with a laminated soft cover. If you own any of the previous Transmissions books, number four will sit perfectly in your collection. If you don't own any of the previous books, Transmissions 4 is the perfect opportunity to give some rusty new friends a home on your bookshelf.
In return for your support, you can choose from the following rewards:
Postcard set
A set of five A6 ( 105 x 148 mm ) size postcards featuring artwork from Transmissions 4.

A full colour, 36 page collection of my robot artwork. Perfect bound with a laminated soft cover. All books are hand signed on the first page.

Digital sketch commission
Select this reward and I will digitally paint a robot for you. Tell me what you'd like to see or leave the design of the image up to me, the choice is yours. The only limitation is that the image must be based around a single robot. Your completed sketch will be supplied as an 8 x 10 inch print and as a digital download so you can arrange your own prints if necessary. This reward also includes a signed copy of Transmissions 4 and a set of five postcards. ( Note: Print now upgraded to A4 size. )
Early Bird bundle
A signed copy of Transmissions 4, a set of five postcards, a signed 8 x 10 inch print of 'Journeyman', the Transmissions 4 cover art, and a signed 8 x 10 inch print of 'Road Trip'. ( Note: Prints now upgraded to A4 size. )
Most of the work for Transmissions 4 is complete and I'm planning to finish the remaining pieces while the Kickstarter campaign is live. If we hit the funding goal, that should mean I can send the book to press quickly. I'd anticipate being able to begin despatching rewards six to eight weeks after the campaign ends.

Stretch Goals
£17500 - Add four pages to Transmissions 4 - REACHED
If we hit this goal, Transmissions 4 will be expanded from 36 pages to 40. That's four extra pages, which means four extra robot paintings. Creating the new work will extend production time a little but I wouldn't expect it to have a major impact on the planned shipping dates.
£20000 - Add an extra postcard to the postcard set - REACHED
If we hit this goal, the postcard set will be expanded from five to six postcards.
£25000 - A signed A5 print for all £15+ backers
If we hit this goal, all backers with a pledge of £15 and above will receive a signed A5 print of 'Rogue Appliance' along with their chosen reward. This extra is only available to backers with a pledge of £15 or above as it's only practical to ship the print safely as part of a reward which includes a copy of Transmissions 4.

Risks and challenges
I've produced numerous books, prints and calendars over the years. That means I'll be working with trusted and familiar suppliers to print Transmissions 4 and provide the other pledge rewards. I'm confident that risks are minimal.
