New Music For "James - Journey of Existence"
This Kickstarter campaign's indie game is in the early stages of development, that is no secret. One of the major parts of "James - Journey of Existence" that needed to be improved was the music: since the very beginning, interested backers have said that the project desperately needs a professional composer or audio engineer, and one of the first major stretch goals would be to hire such a person.
Well, I didn't hire just one talented music composer, I HIRED TWO!
Kim Derome is a talented composer from Montreal, Canada, who already has experience with indie projects such as Galcon 2 and Macguffin Quest. Her original compositions and bio can be seen at http://www.kimderome.com .
Kevin Morris is a music composer and sound engineer from Nashville, TN, USA. An independent artist for hire, his sample work can be seen at http://krossproductions.wix.com/krossproductions/.
Keep in mind that both of these composers have agreed to work with me to make "James - Journey of Existence" come to life IF funding for this campaign is successful (it's difficult for me to pay anyone without funding, of course!). And funding is still a long way off, but I want this week to see a huge boost in pledges. Stay tuned for another update later today on updates to the main Kickstarter page to help make that happen!
These two may not be the only people to join this team, so keep a look out in the coming months. And to all other artists out there: I would never have found these two composers if they hadn't contacted me. Don't be afraid to put yourself out there and offer your services to projects in need of them. Who knows, you might find yourself part of something extraordinary...
