FBA is definitely the plan; it's even registered. I'm waiting on approval and then I have to work out a system of barcodes and some other issues to get it stored and fullfilled by Amazon. Trust me, I know how appealing free shipping is these days.

Brad, now that you're selling on Amazon, have you considered using Amazon fulfillment for shipping? You wouldn't have to charge your Amazon customers for shipping and it would still save us money even if you included Amazon's storage costs into the price. Not to mention the benefit to those of us on Amazon Prime. The short ship time for Amazon fulfilled products is a huge purchase motivator for me.

Just got the tonic in the mail! Already enjoying a G&T and it is GREAT!

I just got my package and I have to say this is the best tonic I've ever tasted. The only negative is there is not enough if it. I should have pledged for more bottles.

    5. Mátthíás Łíght on August 19, 2013

Got my bottle today!! Even had a little unboxing ceremony shared with my kitty. Took pictures with my dumbphone:…

Bradley, received your tonic yesterday and had the perfect cocktail with my wife! Wow, great flavor and fantastic packaging. A real winner. Wishing you the best of luck with your venture.

After several recent bad Kickstarter experiences, it was a great surprise to find my bottle in the mailbox! Great stuff! Are you going to have a way to buy more in the future once the Kickstarter supply is done?

    9. Andrew "Pi" Pyzdek on August 15, 2013

The distinctive orange flavor in this goes excellently with Beefeater gin.

3 bottle package arrived yesterday in Brooklyn, NY. Packed extremely well, no issues. Thanks!

    13. Brad Feather Creator on August 6, 2013

Most everything but the 1- and 2-bottle orders have been handled. And they should be in the air by the end of next week(hopefully sooner)!

By the first two tiers, do you mean the 1 and 2 bottle orders? Haven't gotten a tracking number yet (ordered 2 bottles) and wanted to make sure that this wasn't a mistake.

    15. Adnan Abdulally on August 2, 2013

That is unfortunate. The tracking number still just says "electronic info received". No updates and no notifications in my mailbox/door. I checked the address on the tracking number and it's correct.

    16. Brad Feather Creator on August 1, 2013

Adnan, your package just arrived back on my doorstep today. Looks like they left it in the rain, its so damaged. Anyhow, I'm going to see what I can weasel out of the post office and resend it asap since they, for some reason didn't get it to you.

    17. Adnan Abdulally on August 1, 2013

I got a tracking number on july 16th, but its still at "Electronic Shipping Info Received". Should i be worried, or am i part of the 2 tiers that havent shipped out yet? i pledged for 6 bottles.

    18. Brad Feather Creator on July 31, 2013

I've been able to get most of the reward tiers out the door but not all yet. I'm still waiting on the (unbelievably slow) US postal service to send me the packaging for shipping the first 2 tiers. Everything's made and ready to go as soon as the flat rate packaging arrives. Hopefully, they'll get here in the next couple weeks, and then everyone will be rich with tonic.

    19. Kenneth on July 31, 2013

I also haven't heard anything regarding mine. Still working on getting orders together?

    20. Distilled Creations on July 29, 2013

So... I see people getting packages and tracking numbers and whatnot, but no sign of either for me. Should I be concerned that I've fallen through the cracks?

    21. Corpselocker on July 24, 2013

I just had the best gin and tonic of my life. My wife concurs. Superior ingredients do make for a superior product. Thank you, Brad.

    22. Corpselocker on July 24, 2013

You need to reconsider the lid in future runs. One of my four bottles plastic lid cracked at the top and made a horrific mess on arrival. There is a drizzle left in the bottle and I am tempted to drink it regardless of the health consequences.

    23. Nathan Sipes on July 22, 2013

      Woot! Tracking number!!!

    24. Emily W on July 18, 2013

I got my bottles in the mail today, just in time for some late-July birthdays. My parents (hi Mom and Dad!) both have their birthday on the 23rd and are both big G&T fans, so I'll have to wait until then to see what they think of the tonic. I have to say, it smells really great in the bottle.

Since your tonic is somewhat old world, should I start mixing up some gin in the bathtub? I have my wife's grandmothers recipe!

    26. Brad Feather Creator on June 4, 2013

The tonic of mine is a bit of a hybrid of both the old and the new world. Original tonics were made the same way as mine but likely more bitter. I've tried to make the old recipes more palatable for the new world drinker without sacrificing flavor and complexity. In short, it's less bitter than the 1880's but more so than today's big box tonics.

    27. Distilled Creations on June 4, 2013

So this sounds really amazing (enough that I've already pledged without an answer to this) but I have a question: Modern tonic, even good tonic, has so much less quinine and bitterness than that of say the 1880s or so. Is this more akin to modern or to the classical stuff? I've been wanting to make authentic 19th century gin and tonics and I'm hoping this is the stuff.

I tried making my own tonic a few years ago. It didn't turn out well... So, I'm looking forward to trying this one!

In a huge tonic fan and this looks delicious. I have a Sodastream and this paired with that would be awesome. I tried the Sodastream tonic syrup and it was just too weak and too sweet. I expect this will taste infinitely better.

Curious how you will be getting enough Peruvian cinchona for this project? Trip to Peru? Fancy farmers market? I'm imagining huge packages of bark arriving at your house or something, haha. Hope there'll be fun pictures posted for us :)

Real pity that you can't yet ship out to Europe But I've back it anyway because its just such a brilliant Idea.
