100 backers reached + Kickstarter Staff Pick + New letters announced
100 Backers / 48% Funded!
As we settle in back home from a great Thanksgiving trip to visit friends, we are so excited (and thankful) to report that in our first week 100 people have stepped up to say they care about the future of our kids, and the health of our society! Or, they might just love the Kathleen Hanson original artwork ;)
In the Press
B is for Bicycles has captured lots of attention in a very short time! In the the bicycle world, both BicycleRetailer.com & BikeRumor.com ran front page stories about our campaign. And, someone at Kickstarter liked the book so much they chose us for a staff pick! Yup, lots to be thankful for this thanksgiving!.
New letters released
Have you been following our daily release of new letters for the book on Facebook? Each day we are posting videos of someone reading a new letter (we hope to keep showcasing some of our young reading buddies each day). E through J have been released already! Follow the daily fun here:
Miles to go...
With 48% of our goal attained, we still have a long way to go to get fully funded. As you probably know, if we don't hit our goal, none of the proceeds will be realized and the book will not go to print. Once you have generously donated to our campaign, please help us across the finish line by sharing the project with friends and family via email, social media, or plane 'ole word of mouth (the daily videos of new letters are great to share). Below is a simple cut and paste message to make it even easier.
Thanks again for all your amazing support!

Cut and paste share message:
Check out this great kids book project I just backed on Kickstarter. I love the message of a healthy, active childhood on wheels! Scott and Jannine, who launched the project, are almost half way to their fundraising goal but they need your support. For only $20 you can sign up to receive a first run, signed copy of the book. Each pledge also comes with a holiday gift card so the book can be given as a gift in advance of the first print run! Thanks for helping bring B is for Bicycles to life with me!
