Shadowrun Returns PAX Highlights Reel

Hey folks!

We spent the last week or so putting together a highlights reel of Jordan and Mitch's SR:R presentation at PAX. So for those of you who weren't able to make it, you can now hear everything we revealed straight from the Jordan Horse's mouth.

And for those of you who went, well, if you want, you the experience?

We hope you enjoy it! Looking forward to more updates in the coming months.

      Great job, go hog wild!

@Mike, according to RC it has been pushed back to March/April of 2013 due to added content (stretch goals). oh and regarding my previous comment here i would just like to add that i loooove the style of the background / city scape... that really looks awesome and i'm so looking forward to this game :)

    5. Creator Mike Brodu on September 17, 2012

Are you guys still feeling good about a Jan/Feb 2013 release?

    6. Creator Lirsumis on September 16, 2012

Not hugely thrilled with the stylistic direction of the game, either. Was hoping for something a little grittier, less cartoony. Still, as long as the story and gameplay hold up, it shouldn't matter.

I was the one who asked about the random weather generator AND the "gentelman" that asked about the enter-able (yes I made that word up) buildings =p

Going to this panel was simply amazing! Meeting Jordan and Mitch was a pleasurable experience! Thanks again guys!

@Michael Matzat; I'm really not keen on the style myself, but if the writing's good and the gameplay's fun, I won't care what the character models are like.

Hahaha it's okay, I'm glad someone drew my attention to it so that I can be more careful in the future!

@Sally: No sweat, sorry about the whole living hell thing. To be fair, from the sounds of it, I'm sure it's not a term you have call to use very often at the office . ;)

I don´t mind the character art that mutch, liked the dancing gnome and all but i somehow wonder what happend over all the years that everything needs to be so cartoony. Maybe in the past it was just easier to do something with les emidiat outstanding "personalety".
I always loved the original monkey island titles because it was this wacky story with the "realistic movie like" look. Than part 3 and onwards happend. Syndicat, Shadowrun... awsome, serius, gritty... and not this cartoony style.
I hope the story will stay open to less kid frindly stuff. ;D

Poor Mitch who has to deal with Jordans insane style of coming up with stuff in presentations ^^

    13. Creator Harebrained Schemes LLC on September 14, 2012

Hahaha that was such a great one...

    14. Creator Wahngrok on September 14, 2012

Thanks for the tip with the transcript. The line "[...] because it's attorneys gay see also believes in special effects here" had me close to tears with laughter. :)

    15. Creator Harebrained Schemes LLC on September 14, 2012

Also, we highly encourage you to watch this video with YouTube's "interactive transcript" if you'd like to read such gems as "the same assets nightline India might."

Matt, I (Sally Neumann, who's taking the blame for this) can't even believe that I missed that. I'm so ashamed. I hate hate hate typos and I swear it's not reflective of the final product. Everyone in the office is having a good-spirited heyday with my mistake (when I left my chair, I returned to find the screenshot as my desktop background). May you rest easy knowing that I'm living every moment in the Hell that is my error.

      Hmmmm Random Leather Generator...

    18. Creator Gonchi on September 14, 2012

"I wanted to answer that before he did because he adds features during presentations." XD

      Fun vid, thanks.

    19. Creator Matt on September 14, 2012

Enjoyable -- but gentleman is spelled wrong in one of the supers. Not a big deal for a down-and-dirty YouTube video, but I hope it's not reflective of the final product... sloppy game text is my personal pet peeve.

    20. Creator Robert Richardson on September 14, 2012

See you in 2054!... Wow, what a long Turn around time. I'd heard there were delays...but still. :P Kidding aside, looks great.

    21. Creator Shmee on September 14, 2012

You should make time to come to PAX it is a lot of fun!

    22. Creator David Sherman on September 14, 2012

Most excellent, I could not attend and I live in the Puget Sound too! Grrrr... Thanks so much for sharing!
