Yeah, I never received the second survey email either, and I also didn't use Facebook to log into anything.

Hey everyone - sorry we are running a bit behind on getting the Second City Announcement posted. We will have it up today/tonight.

Also Mitch wanted me to let you all know he's been receiving all your emails and other requests and will get to them as soon as he can.

Then I guess I caught the last train, because I once again forgot to check my spam folder - until today, that is. Luckily, the time difference works in my favour this time (living in Europe), so Berlin got my vote ... again :) I'd be happy with either choice, though, even if Hong Kong indeed sounds a little bit too mystical.

I'm still in favour of a city editor, though, as I commented back when the fund-raising campaign (can you use that term for Kickstarter, by the way?) wasn't over yet. Harebrained Schemes should consider this as an expansion, and then you will have whatever you want. Indeed, there will be overlaps in the beginning, but the community will sort out the best projects. In fact, if there is enough money, HS could make it a competition, and include the best player-made cities as an expansion. It's worth thinking about, this will really engage the community, and secure longevity for the game.

doh...didn't get the mail either. :( Let's go Hong Kong!

    12. Matthew Ardill on

Didn't get the e-mail either I'm happy with either choice but am hoping for Hong Kong (it's how I voted last time around.)

    13. Teppo Koivukangas on

I never got any emails. Spam or non-spam folders.

OK, found the mail in the gmail Spam-folder, which is not directly shown in outlook, so I fogot to look it up and only looked into Junkmail folder.

So, I'd be happy with either city, but voted for berlin

    15. Wazzelbe on

Yeah, I guess Chicago would lose that race. Weren't we infested with bug spirits and nuked at some point? At least we're not Cleveland.

Both cities sound good to me, The main reason I'm picking Hong Kong though is because of the mix of old with the new plus the resources at your disposal are far larger than that in Berlin, both for physical supplies, Software supplies, and Magic supplies. A perfect den for Data Handlers, Black market goods, smuggling, trafficking, and convoluted stories. Berlin on the other hand while it's got perhaps a fifth of the supplies as Hong Kong, has potential for more action, danger, and underhanded dealings. Either way I'm happy with the final out come.

Second round vote remained the same: I want the Hong Honk connection to Dragons, please :p

I went with Berlin, but either way I'm gonna be happy. Both citys sound great!
I can't wait to hear the result of the survey...

Went with Berlin this time. Little sad that there won't be more of the Archology to explore. That's pretty much my favorite module of all time. Hong Kong just doesn't convey the gritty tech feel that I associate with Shadowrun. Too mystical for my tastes (Even if this is the Sixth World).

Gmail caught the second survey as spam. Marked it as not spam. Anyone else missing theirs might want to check and do the same.

    27. David Gardner on

hehe well I voted Berlin though I have to say I'm a little disappointed, I was looking forward the the Euro players bringing us stuff that had to do with Berlin through the game editor I mean it makes sense that the people that know the place would be able to present the best material, with there thoughts and influences. Instead there was mass complaining about "to much U.S." to a U.S. company. Makes me think that if they ever make a new Gothic game I will have to gripe about how it should be placed in the Seattle area :P

Berlin is the most awesome European city for Shadowrun (well, for a lot of stuff too!)

    37. Georg Mir on

Nevermind, I didn't check my spam folder, and there I found it ;) thanks!

      Berlin it is!

    38. Georg Mir on

I haven't received the survey… just this notification.

    39. Johannes Horak on

Finally got this one late evening yesterday from via

Berlin, Berlin, wir fahren nach Berlin ;-)

    40. Dan Masters on

Got the first survey, didn't get this one. :(

    41. Michael Kerney on

Got the second one, straight to inbox today.

No idea where that first one went.

    42. George Dodge on

I hope, man. A lot of those city options sounded really freakin' cool, so I for one am hoping for some DLC cities in the future. I was really torn in my vote since Berlin, Hong Kong, and London all really appealed to me. Expanded Seattle sounded really great, too (just maybe without so much emphasis on Renraku), but I want distinctly different flavor in the second city, ya know?

So here's hoping this game is a runaway success and they make a DLC [Runner-Up City Here] and maybe follow it up with another DLC city after that. (And uhh.. maybe another?)

I'm talking about a definitive Shadowrun vidja game experience, nawmean?

    43. Horst Klinkenborg on

Help! I never received the first survey and so far haven't received the second. And yes, it is not in my spam folder. Any ideas?

    44. Cody Markle on

      Expansions, anyone?

After reading the descriptions of the 2 choices, I'm just paralyzed. They both sound awesome and like they both deserve to be their own games.
