Yup, day 1 backer here too. You keep making them, I'll keep buying them. Bringing back digital Shadowrun RPGs is just making me ultra happy :) Sooooooo, today then? Today? Hmm? :D

    3. Space Monkey on January 6, 2015

Will be Day 1 backer on that too, no doubt about that. Shadowrun Returns, Wasteland 2 and Divinity OS are the jewels of the KS game projects, and I'd like that to continue!
PS: please make it a coop playable campaign this time!

Day 1 backer, for SR, will Day 1 back this.

Really enjoying my first take @ Dragonfal at the moment, one suggestion for improvement:

When running with a perma-team, plz make it possible to buy gear and upgrades for the whole team, a ala most party-based RPGs.

Whomever said "stealth"--i'm all for it, if possible.

And yeah, please feel free to spam my inbox when this launches, I'll be throwing money at you Day1.

    5. fdisk on January 6, 2015

Count me in, I still very much believe in Kickstarter. More so after Shadowrun Returns, Dragonfall, Wasteland 2, and Divinity: OS

    6. DS_Nadine on January 5, 2015

You keep making them, I keep buying them! :-D
      I'd take 2 campaigns a year. :-D

    7. Ryan "Keokuk" Smith on December 27, 2014

I really enjoy the game setting, and want to see more.

It looks like the Sik Sik Wong Tai Sin Temple. And the street give a feel of Temple Street, but those are not connected. It looks great, any chance of a desktop version?
I’m also one of the backer that voted for Hong Kong in the first Kickstarter and I’m glad to see it come back in some form. I hoped the HK setting would be more of a break from Seattle than Berlin, but after playing Dragonfall, my concerns disappeared.

I threw a $50 note at the screen .. it flew into a fan and jammed the fan. Don't worry, the $50 note was ok, I'm ready to try again.

If you can only make one major improvement/new system to the game - please, make it stealth. I agree with a lot of others who say that Shadowrun feels strange without stealth mechanics built in. I love these games but my one gripe is that combat begins to feel repetitive at a certain point - allowing for stealth and what it can introduce such as setting up ambushes and out-thinking enemies would make these games a more complete experience.

    12. Krzysztof Zięba - designer on December 24, 2014

I LOVE IT! Can't wait to see what you have in store for the game. Will do my best to back you, the previous two campaigns were both really strong! Projects like yours make it feel sooo good to back a crowdfunding campaign :)

    13. Johannes 'Waldgeist' Rebhan on December 24, 2014

I am still a bit sad, that a game set in Berlin wasn't translated into German. Several of my Shadowrun Group didn't buy Dragonfall because of that. They are not as comfortable in English.

      +1

      Requests:
      - Update in Januar
      - Multiplayer
      - Donation level

      - Update in Januar:
When the new kickstarter is opened make sure to send an update here.
That way i will not miss it.

      - Multiplayer:
Me and my friends meet once a week to play coop games.
We love Shadowrun and would like to play some more.

      - Donation level
Last Time i had a problem with the digital only bundle.
My donation was cut off because the digital only donation was too low.
Please create a digital only level with something like 100$.
If multiplayer makes it you could give out N steam keys.
That way we can give them to our multiplayer friends.
That may even be a good idea for multiple digital only levels.
We are 6 people, me + 5. So a +5 Steam key Level would be great for me.

    16. Ber on December 24, 2014

      Yes please!

Improvement requests for next game / engine revision:
      - More matrix gameplay depth
      - Better inventory management, including ability to swap items between party members in & out of combat
      - an info screen for items that spells out what it actually offers (eg special abilities that are extra on guns, or not available on them)
      - generally clearer feedback on how items, mechanics and skills work. eg clarify that ESPs are usable once per matrix session, not consumable. have available somewhere the formula for chance to hit, crit chance etc. show what impact ley lines have on spells.
      - option to enter combat mode voluntarily, so you can position your team for combat, and use a sniper for first shot when you manage to sneak up on enemies
      - show what angle is required for flanking / to be flanked
      - let players stand next to a doorway and use it as cover to shoot from, so often a diagonal shot thru a door looks like it should be a clear shot but counts as 'LoS blocked'

Also, +1 to desktop size image request :D

Congrats, I'm hyped. Your artist is insanely good.

This is a new kickstarter so I expect a new hero but I wish hard it is one from the old campaigns. I love continuity.

In order to contain the excitement, I should finish the Director's Cut. You guys are awesome.

    18. Ryan "Keokuk" Smith on December 23, 2014

I'm interested, and will probably back. Holidays etc...so maybe not as high a tier as I'd like, but I'm definitely interested.

    23. Munly Leong on December 23, 2014

I will happily back again day one !

    26. Ivan, Troll Streetsamurai on December 23, 2014

GREAT NEWS! Baker from day one. Bought the game even a 2nd time and I do own the iPad version too.

What I am expecting: Additional content in form of new adventures (runs), maybe even some stuff that resumes on the DMS / Dragonfall campaign and allows us to import our chars. A possible stretchgoal could be a new setting or maybe even two.

What I am hoping: Sandbox mode of Shadowurn Returns. I would go crazy if HBS introduced some kind of GM-mode for live runs (RPG seasons) with your friends.

Well - concept art is pretty at least :D If it's the same engine, here's hoping for more character creation options and perhaps a bump in the character models. Regardless, if this is building off the excellent storytelling of Dragonfall then I'm in.

    33. Jalister on December 23, 2014

      "Wallpaper size please"

One thing I hope for is that they can deliver on astral, so that we have all three worlds available.
Big undertaking from both an asset creation and mechanical creation/testing standpoint, so I'm not holding my breath.

      We need rats though.

Also, given the name of the original 2015 Kickstarter teaser image was named "HK-KS-Teaser.png" I think it's safe to bet on Hong Kong.

Can't wait to see what the crazy lovely people will come up with.

I am hoping the game advances and leaves its IPad connections behind as it limits the size and interactions with the maps. What I would love too see is a large open world like divinity original sin accomplished, but with the amazing setting of Shadow Run.

    44. Oldschool Shadowrunner on December 23, 2014

Well after Elite Dangerous debacle I specifically stated that I will not back any other video game project on Kickstarter with one exception... Shadowrun! One thing I would like to see enhanced and updated is DocWagon Kits. For something that it was a backers reward first time around I felt you guys took an easy route and cheapened the experience by making it look like another "med-kit".

Like I and others said, can we have options that is less combat focused. It was near useless to put points in anything except combat since that was all the previous games seemed to focus on that while ignoring your other traits most of the time. Also the linear paths, limited quests, limited NPC dialag, and limited choices made the game get repetitive pretty fast. I enjoyed the games, but it was pretty limited. I think most of us do not want a cheap tablet game, but a full on RPG in Baulder's gate/PST style. That is a project most of us would be more than happy to throw money at.

    48. RC on December 23, 2014

@Jean-Pierre Guay, game developer after game developer that's tried to tacker converting the PnP game mechanics directly to video games have all reported, without exception, that it turns out to A) not be fun to play, and B) between the massive variety, complexity, logic contradictions, and multiple versions of Shadowrun tabletop rules, it's a prohibitive cost undertaking that a few million nyuen from a Kickstarter won't cover. It'd need AAA budget development, and then it's unlikely to break even on sales at that level of development investment.

That being said, in so many ways, Shadowrun Returns/Dragonfall connects with the intent of the PnP game mechanics that I think it feels right, and it's a helluvalotta fun 'ta play ^_^

    49. Stefan Sommer on December 23, 2014

Well... I'm ready for a new KS campaign with you guys.
