Does this sound familiar? I used to ride motorcycles in college. They were fun economical and convenient, the girls didn't mind them either. As I got older and one particular girl became my wife, I got a job and started having children, suddenly the motorcycle wasn't as practical. I became more concerned with safety (as did my wife), and sitting in a traffic jam at 8AM on the freeway on a motorcycle was enough of a deterrent to make my motorcycle start collecting dust. Well, commuting in my pickup wasn't exactly the best option either as gas prices have increased so dramatically. What I really needed was a fun, cool, economical, safe and convenient vehicle that I could use to drive to work and still have a ton of fun with on the weekends. Having nothing on the market that fit all those parameters, and certainly nothing in a decent price range, I began the quest of developing my own form of transportation.
It had to have a high power to weight ratio while staying light overall to have the kind of jaw dropping performance I was looking for. A unique blend of safety and performance features evolved into a surprisingly economical and fun vehicle. A full roll cage and five point harness for safety, a three wheel platform with an ultra low center of gravity for stability without the extra weight of the fourth wheel. The traction and "biker cool" of a fat chopper tire in the back. Probably the most important feature was that I wanted to "feel the road" the way you do on a motorcycle. No other vehicle has the same connected to the road feel that a motorcycle has, not until now that is. Our long travel suspension system coupled with the unique pneumatic leaning system automatically adjusts ride height and compensates for weight, but more importantly, it leans the vehicle into corners like a motorcycle. No more sliding out of your seat (or off you conventional trike) when cornering.
With design and development roots stemming from the aerospace and pneumatics fields, this machine has a ride the likes of which have never been experienced before. If you love the thrill of the open road, are looking for something unique and exciting, the DiamondBack is your answer.
With your help, we'll be able to take this vehicle from prototype to production. Your donations will enable us to purchase the necessary equipment for larger scale production. If we reach our stretch goal of $100,000 we would have the resources necessary to develop and bring to market a two seater version of the DiamondBack. When the vehicle is taken to market, we expect the finished retail price to start at $29,995 plus tax and licensing.

Risks and challenges
As with any project there are risks to delivering within a certain time frame, however we have sourced the raw materials and have a fully functioning facility to produce the frames and complete the vehicle. We are confident that even in these early stages we will be able to produce a full vehicle in approximately three months. Your satisfaction is extremely important to us and we will communicate with you regularly to keep you informed on the progress of your vehicle. We know that once you visit our facilities and meet our staff you will be confident in our ability to produce your DiamondBack.
